The battle for 3rd place

Swansea should have won that with Llorente's chance near the end. Please the rags didn't win though as we stay above them with our game today in hand.
 
Come on city, big performance needed today now, we could be pretty much there if Liverpool and Arsenal stuff up.
 
So long as we win our next match and the rags don't beat Arsenal I'm pretty confident as with our goal difference it's essentially a 4 point gap with 3 games remaining.
 
Utd's position weakened. They have one home game left, and Arsenal, Spurs and Saints away whilst we have 3 home games on the trot.

We really should get 4th at a minimum now

Cant see UTD getting anymore than 1 point from the next 6 tbh so we really are in a strong position to at least get 4th but need to focus next week as Palace can trouble the big teams as they have shown especially away from home
 
We've let Liverpool back into this.

Utd have got a hard run in and are playing really poor but

Arsenal are still 3pts behind even if they win their game in hand and they have a wembley final on their minds

Spurs have done us a real favour

Liverpool have an easy game tomorrow night

Its going to the wire.....we cannot underestimate Palace and Leicester however........both will cause us a lot of problems esp if Pep messes around with the team. We need silva back asap and a lot will rest of GJ head if Kun is out (Sane Sterling and KDB all really poor at present and not scoring anything)
 
Who knows.
We let Middlesbrough score twice which was impossible a few weeks ago.
Peps made us worse than we were under Pellegrini last season. Very dissapointing season.
 
Palace still need points to be safe , so probably the toughest of our remaining fixtures hopefully Leicester ,Albion and Watford have got their flip flops on , the Rags will drop at least 4 points , if we in our home games we can then do a lap of honour with the Goons 4th place trophy after the Albion game , and the bean counters at the club will be happy with the Champs league qualification .Not sure Khaldoon will be jumping through hoops though , his end of season statement will be interesting.
 
Pretty much impossible to predict. Thought Boro was the easiest of our remaining games and look what happened. Probably gonna go all the way to the Watford game.
 
Celebrating a top four position tells its own story , 11 points behind Tottenham, fucking Tottenham! a team that cost a quarter of ours.

Even the shitty scousers have breathed down our neck all season.
 
I'm not stressing about top 4 although not getting there when we have the best manager would be shocking and unacceptable,i have faith next season will be much different after a summer clear out,i worry more about getting rid of our stars like sergio and leave one or two dross one's here
