The battle for 3rd place

No need to worry.

United.

Everton at home.
Chelsea at home.
City away.
Arsenal away.
Tottenham away.

We've got.

Chelsea away.
United at home.

As long as we beat United at home, regardless of the Chelsea result, we should be OK.

Having looked at all the remaining games, I'm going for end of season points tally of:

City 79 points
united 74
Everton 65
Arsenal 75
Liverpool 83

In comparison to United.

Hull at home.
West Brom at home.
United at home.
Crystal Palace at home.
Leicester at home.

Chelsea away.
Southampton away.
Middlesbrough away.
Watford away.

If Pep f***'s this up for a CL place, he needs sacking! ;-)

Player for player we are better than Arsenal, Liverpool and United. How many of these teams' players would actually improve us?

Frankly if we fuck this up Pep deserves the bullet.

1) I don't think for a second we are in danger of fucking it up in the slightest.

2) the only manager remotely safer in their job right now is Conte.

Just checked all the fixtures bar Chelsea.

Liverpool have the easiest run-in by a mile. They will nail top 4.

We have the next easiest run-in bar Chelsea and the United.

Arsenal come next, but have a tough set of last games.

Spurs are next with a tough set of fixtures until the end of the season after the next two easy games.

United. Difficult ruin-in. They will have to beat Chelsea, City, Arsenal, and Spurs to stand any chance.

My predctions. 2nd to 4th could go any way. 1 or 2 points in it.

1. Chelsea.
2. Liverpool.
3. Spurs.
4. City.

See what you mean about Liverpool but they have less games and some like Palace West Brom Stoke are the kind of games they have dropped points in, Think they'll be 4th or if Arsenal do an Arsenal 5th.

What disappointed me was the players and especially the manager believed they got no chance of winning the league!

This league every game you can drop points you should as a club believe or put it out there its not over and this club have come back from being 8 points behind with 6 to play! beat Arsenal and Chelsea will be be looking over there shoulder.

If we don't finish top 4 after the furore around pep's arrival and our start to the season we will be a laughing stock.

Of course this is wild speculation. But why the Liverpool love in? They are an average side punching above their weight.

I see it like this

Chelsea 88
City 81
Spurs 79
Arsenal 75

Liverpool 73
United 73

Do not underestimate Arsenal. They always finish well particularly when they are out the cups. Wenger is fighting for his job and they showed yesterday they can still play. And they always finish in the top four. It is the law.

I would suggest that people stop concerning themselves about finishing in the Top4, it doesn't really matter - the sun is shining, enjoy the football, and I am sure the results will come

Good to see you being a little more optimistic these days :-)

You inspired me Gordon.

This point was very important mind you because Arsenal now has little chance of making the top four and Manure have a tough run in with distractions.

On top of that both clubs are missing key players for them now for a decent period of time.

I think Liverpool can cover the loss of Mane.

If we can win at Chelsea its a huge leap forward to securing top four.
