The battle for 3rd place

Not a hope arsenal will put 5 past Everton , we will win 3_1 so it won't matter anyway
 
We will draw at Watford and Liverpool will put 4 or 5 past Boro to secure 3rd place and we will have to play a CL qualifier in August. If we'd not have arsed about for the last half hour tonight we could have got a goal difference to enable us to draw at Watford to get 3rd place?

Yes but it's not done yet. I know it's looking very likely. Remember though that Arsenal will be desperate to score goals and everton are garbage away from home and also might not want to do Liverpool any favours. We need to beat Watford to get 3rd.

I know. It was all set up to get a couple more, and take some of the pressure off for our game at Watford. Now we'll have to go there and win I think
 
Actually annoys me that we go 3-0 up, know GD could play a part then take our foot off their throat. Should have gone for it tonight, 5 or 6 goals, then we could relax. For a top team, we show so little inclination to attack with purpose in the last 20 minutes.
 
its not over until its over and watford are quite capable of pulling a result from the bag on the last day only a fool would overlook this, that WBA goal makes a very big diference because arsenal are quite capable of putting 4 past Everton on a good day, im sure we will be fine but dont eat your dinner before its cooked

Then call me a fool because I put us down to finish 3rd as soon as 1st went out the window.

Its a mistake to take off Merlin, Yaya and Vinny as we lose the control no doubt but at 3-0 and a night like tonight where it was always going to be about Zaba you can kind of understand it.

The goal was just poor from Kolarov making a half arsed attempt to block the cross, Otamendi being out of position and Stones still being sat on the bench mentally he was so poor when he came on.

We also missed a few chances we really should be taking, especially the chance jesus had towards the end but fuck it, we won the game and are in the driving seat for 3rd.
