The battle for 4th place

Am I right in saying that 6th gets West Ham a Europa qualifying spot? Therefore they still
have something to play for?

They were in it this year wern't they, then fielded a weakened side in the qualifiers to get knocked out. So will they want to be in it next year.
Think they would like to concentrate on a top 4 spot.

West ham will want To win desperately but sometimes the occasion suffocates the home team. See us last game at Maine Rd and the rags 50th anniversary of Munich. Hope the hammers dont choke.

No my frustration is against the vitriol and bile that so called blues think is ok to use against their manager. Selections/systems add them to the list if you want, I don't have an issue with that, it still amounts to a variety of reasons

as long as you are happy with this dross he`s serving up. i see it as a cronic waste with the players we have, i cant begin to tell you how that makes me feel, i`ve been going since 1958 and this is the worst use of player resources i`ve witnessed

I don't care what anybody says, this is fucking shameful. We're relying on other teams for Champions League football when we have the best squad by a mile... and people want us to stay behind and clap that old buffoon. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Not nearly good enough from everyone involved from top down.

Many players to say farewell to and the evolution starts today.

will all the halfwits who said pelligrini was right to throw the southampton game by playing a weaker team step forward

Scandalous decision that day. Arrogant and cost us. Throwing away 3 points before the game started virtually and certainly during the game when he was "managing" it.

This is why people don't like him. His trust in some of these wankers we have playing for us has cost us.

Yes they have, and Southampton is right behind them, they can't afford to lose against united. But honestly, i'm more concerned about us, even if West Ham gets a result, i doubt we'll be able to beat Swansea.
If West ham win then we only need a draw against Swansea. That's our most realistic hope, sad I know

I've said it before, United have to win twice, we have to win once. In footballing terms the ball is still in our court because we have to win our one game whereas they have to win 2 and they now have Martial injured who they have relied upon a lot.

Bournemouth and West Ham especially will not be easy games too for them the same Swansea won't. Lets not forget the other scenario, say United win all of their games, what if Arsenal get beat by Villa, that is still us in 4th assuming a win at Swansea. It will definitely go down to the wire no matter what happens and it would be typical of this season to throw up something like that.

You do the squad a disservice and assume any other team he picked would have walked over them. I beg to differ, and I think Pellegrini had his orders. The owners want titles, and the one they want most is the CL. When you are ONE GOAL from the CL final, you can't play everyone twice in a few days, especially when half of them are carrying injuries and are knackered!

Who was the last time a team did us a favour? Wigan, EFC? Can't see the Swamp Donkeys buggering it up. They've always been the kind of team who can play the shittiest game of the season and still scab a 1-0.

And were Wiiiiiist Hiiiiiim to turn them over, how many City fans would have tenner on us screwing it v The Swans. We are back firmly in typical City territory.
