Only in terms of injury. I was more picking them because they possess the fighting qualities that was being questionedVinny and zab not for most of the season though mate which has been a problem?
That's the thing. James Milner wasn't a star, never has been, never will be. But he could easily be MOTM many times a season in many different positions. Never stops working, never stops running and can increase the work rate of others around them, making the team better as a result. We've tried to make Delph that player this season but going off his games in the left wing, it's clear as day, this lad isn't that player. He cannot play in different positions.
The thing is, there might not be any more James Milners out there. They're very hard to spot.
John O'Shea was that player for United for a while. I remember him once playing in centre mid at Highbury against that great Arsenal team and he scored and got MOTM in a United win. John O'fucking-Shea, better than Henry and Scholes in a big game. That's what Milner used to bring to us but I think you fall upon those players rather than purposely go out and find them and Milner wanted to play for Liverpool and we haven't happened to find that kind of player to replace him.
Looking at the table again and 1 more point would have had us in a much better position, goal difference won't be able to work in our favour this season. We really need West Ham to take points off of the rags
Loving all this rose tinted Milner bollocks after his third decent game of the season for Liverpool.
In seasons gone by, but not this one. To be honest, I don't count the keeper as he can't really use use that quality to affect the team, and the fact that he's been an ever present this season probably proves that (it's a shame he can't pass it onto others).Vinnie, Joe & Zab spring to mind
3rd decent game lolLoving all this rose tinted Milner bollocks after his third decent game of the season for Liverpool.
We looked unbeatable first 3 games of season how did it come to this
Injuries?
Players finding out Pep was coming next season?
Players past it?
Squad not refreshed in the right areas?
Poor Team selections?
Stronger league?
I suspect all of the above
3rd decent game lol
Like you say, a multitude of reasons.
Maybe I should have added the manager not leading the Haka at the start of each match
Silly comment mate and does nothing for the forum at a time where anything and everything seems to cause an argument.
A tad silly maybe, but just shows my frustration at others who think and state what they think he is
i suspect your frustration is match by the people who think the opposite of you, nice to see you say it might be selections although you`ve omitted to say systems
