The Bayern Party

I have been asked by the club not to bring any offensive inflatables to the game, so unfortunately Fergiecock wont be making an appearance from myself. I can understand where the club are coming from on this issue, and as i am contact with the club, i dont want to get anyone into trouble by bringing a 6 foot inflatable penis, that can be bought on the internet for £17.99 by searching with google, with Fergies face splashed on both sides of the helmet by enhancing a decent image and printing it out on card, with the back of the card plastered with double sided sticky.

As i said, I have been asked not to bring one of these.

I'd also like to thank those at City who are helping push this and the fans that are helping by supporting this.

Thanks guys.

Can u get this thread to be a sticky?

Just listened to the baffoon called Darren Gough on talk sport...Says we are already out...I wonder how many people are going to have egg on their faces when we beat Bayern and Napoli only draw in Villareal. Bring it on..Getting more confident by the day!

Although it looks like, barring a miracle, that the game against Bayern Munich will be the last in the competition this year, it really is out of our hands now, but lets show the rest of Europe and UEFA just exactly how we have enjoyed our first season's participation in the Champions League.

Against Hamburg i brought along around 150 inflatables to try and lift the atmosphere, and others brought flags, streamers, inflatables and confetti, which in my opinion allowed us all to relax and just enjoy the night. It really was a party atmosphere.

Well this season i have been waiting to do it again, and what better way to go out of the competition than with a Big Bayern Party! This time i have around 300 inflatables, dont worry Shady, i still have your 6ft croc, and i am hoping other fans will bring whatever they can with them to really get the stadium bouncing.

Here is an event created on Facebook if anyone wishes to spread the word to other City or Munich fans.

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=309134605770994

Be Loud, Be Proud, and lets for once, really get behind the team, give them a lift, and make it a night to remember for everyone involved.

Thanks for your time.

I didnt think you posted in here anymore?

I hope fans get up for this, its not over yet, and people can say what they want about the Euro Lge but we have had some great nights in that comp. What would happen if we got to the Final of that comp would there be any interest? bloody right there would be, what ever happens lets make the 7th a night to enjoy and show the players we are proud.

If we go out it is onward and upward.

I shall be bringing the flag and a bag of ticker tape and joining in the fun.

Surely the club will be doing something special for the night?

Lights off maybe?

Sounds good. Treat it as a champions league farewell party. Obviously we are all a bit disappointed about it but let's celebrate how far we have come! 5 points clear, beat united 6-1 and we play in the champions league. I have always dreamed that city would be a great club side and there is no doubt we will be back in the champions league next season.

I was gutted on tues and couldn't even bring myself to switch on the computer to buy the tickets however there now bought and I really think we can do it what a great night it will be if we some how manage to get through

Morning People,

Just been having a look for some inflatable history and have come across this beauty from Youtube. Check out Ian Brightwell and Paul Moulden, and be on the look out for a very young Bernie Halford as well.

For those looking for Sky Blue Santa Suits to purchase, I have been given the following link by City http://mcfcsantastroll.vendder.com/ I am unsure whether you can just buy these or whether you need to take part in the Santa Stroll, but if you want one of these suits you only have to stroll 2.5km. Have a look.

Here is another video from the BBC News

The 2 video's show just how good it looks with a bit of effort from us the fans. Lets make this one of the most mental nights in the history of Manchester City Football Club.

Thanks

Any updates?

We're coming up from Plymouth, first game this season and we read about the inflatable party on twitter.

We could bring about 10 inflatables with us. Only question: what the hell do we do with them once we're there? Which area is the party going to be in?

And what's the stadium regulations? Can't be bothered to fill our car to be rejected at the gate.

Don't blow them up 'til you get in the ground then.

Thanks for that piece of fantastic input.

With 5 people coming up in a Polo and staying for 5 days for Norwich and Bayern, 10 "unblown-up" inflatables will fill the car too, bru.

you can have an inflatable anywhere but they won't allow 10 unless you're somewhere that's standing. So South Stand lvl 1 would be the best place to bring them

Buzzing for the Bayern game.. Who knows what'll happen but one thing for sure is that its gunna be a hell of a party, great to see something like this getting organised!

If anyone comes near me with an inflatable i will pop it. Go and support your team, sing your heart out and even take a flag on special occasions but fancy dress and inflatable animals/fruit at the ground are frankly embarrassing.

boring old sod !!! other people's fun may not be the same as your fun, but it doesn't make them any less of a supporter. :(
