I’ve had time to ponder everyone’s views and I think I feel more strongly than I did when I first heard it.

Let’s say the line was “John Terry hates n*****s”.

What the fuck would everyone think then?

Well I’ll tell you what I think paedophilia is worse topic to make fun of than racism! But it’s there. Stupid twats thinking it’s funny to put a line in about paedophilia... do one!

Fucking leave it out Blues!

That’s a silly analogy to be fair. One, because using the “N” word is as racist as it gets. Two, because that version actually glorifies racism. And three, because whatever one thinks of the Charlton reference, it in no way glorifies paedophilia and instead accuses someone of it.

It’s a tasteless line no doubt, and it ruins a great song. But for me, singing “City won the league with a paedo on the wing” is a million times worse and truly does glorify noncing.

Oh, and United fans have no right to take the moral high ground either, seeing as they sung about Wenger being a paedo for fucking years en masse.

I'd say it was more the Charlton line yesterday, however I did hear the going on the piss line too.

All in all, it now sounds like "Bobby Charlton's on the piss" - which is what I will be singing going forward.
