The best Atmosphere since we moved?

Think there have been better atmospheres than last night I can normally judge how good it was by the amount of scapes and bruises on my legs from the seat in front when we score.
play off final I had about 5 seperate cuts and scrapes on my legs (hand many more on my arms as I fell about 4 rows).
Last night I had 3 but think one might have been on the bed as I tried to get in wothout waking the wife.

Cant underestimate the importance of our part to play in us winning the League - think every single player has acknowledged the noise we made last night in their tweets, interviews etc.

We need it every game now- both home and away
Yeah but fuck all was heard on telly,so this may be a case of if a tree falls in the woods....etc etc

It doesn't matter whether it's heard on telly or not.
The main thing is that it's heard in the stadium, on the pitch.
I posted earlier this week that every game from hereon is a Cup Final and we need to get together and make as big a noise as we can. Last night was the first step.

IMO last night was as good as it's been since we moved to Eastlands.
We all knew how important a win would be and that came though with the support. I reckon that had a big effect on the players. Together we are stronger, my friends.

It was a decent atmosphere, although I though there might have been a bit of trouble between our own fans in 110 where some coked up lad (snorting in the stand) and another bloke were arguing a bit especially when Balotelli missed that chance.

I couldn't go last night so I don't know how good it was. In my experience the best atmosphere at CoMs/Etihad was the 4-2 victory over Arsenal.

as the City PR and media team are promoting ...........

"TOGETHER"

Although I do originally think this had an element of accepting Tevez ....... it still applies for the rest of the season

I agree with the point regarding Tevez, it was noticeable how many times last night either Hugh, Danny or Natalie, or Rosler, Dickov or Whitley pointed out that the crowd supporting the team no matter what would really help. I presume they'd been told to stress this point to make people think twice about the reception to give Tevez.

Speaking of which, I noticed it went very very quiet once Tevez had come on. It was just after Chelsea had scored, but in the gap between them scoring and Tevez coming on the City fans were still making some noise, however for a couple of minutes after he came on all you could hear were the away fans, it was as if the crowd didn't know what to do. Then we started to pile the pressure on Chelsea with a series of corners and attacks and the atmosphere developed into one of the best we've had.

It was a refreshing change from the booing at half time vs Lisbon the other week....

It a different crowd for cup games ......... a lot more transient fans (and tourists) who only go to a few games a season and some have the rag attitude that they have paid their money so they expect a win........ I'm sure we will see more of them in the future

Last night was great, the crowd went quiet for a very short time after they scored .... but that's going to happen .............. then the atmos built up again and urged the players on which was superb.

Although I reckon Hamburg at home had a better buzz about it ......... just not quite the right result.

Hamburg probably shaded it for me too

i couldnt hear anything from the crowd all game watching it on the telly.

*beep beep*...hurting today are we...

The place was buzzing last night..

The reason why there were dips in the atmosphere is probably down to anxiety and nerves from the fans. The players responded by given us something to get behind with that second half performance.

Top atmosphere to cap off a briliiant night. 9 more to go.

As some other have mentioned, we need to be TOGETHER for each of these cup finals!!!
