The best City performance you have ever seen?

Please don't say this you guys! After 25 years or so of never missing a home match ever unless i was ill, i wasn't there last night - as a new mum to a 5 week old baby i'm having to give up night matches (mainly as my partner does not get home from work until it would be too late for me to get to the stadium), so despite being on the scheme i had to let other family use it.
So i am GUTTED we played so well!!!! Selfish of me i know ;) :(
 
It was a pretty impressive performance, certainly in the second half, but let's not forget they were without three top regulars, and the incomparable Iniesta. But it's still Barcelona that appears on the programme cover. I can think of better performances across the full ninety minutes but not against such illustrious opponents. The game against Bayern when Sergio got his hat trick was a superb night, and it will be a very stiff marker for teams who finish first in their group and draw MCFC! The likes of Real and Bayern would not want to draw us in the next round.
 
It was a great performance and just think what the score could have been with our nailed on pen and at least 3 other scoreable chances to go further ahead. It will be hard even for talksport to talk this one down, well done to the Mighty Blues, more of the same against Boro please..

They were talking it down plenty after the match last night.

Unfortunately you're wrong about Talksport. Listened to 5 mins of Man Utd local boy Goldstein on the way home before switching off. Apparently Barca were missing their 3 best players

Well I did say it would be hard for em, not impossible, Goldstein is an utter numpty and I very much doubt even he believes the utter shite he comes out with...!
 
The 5-1 was the best i've ever seen City play...We were shite and never in a million years expected to get anything out of that game but fuck we gave it to them

Bournemouth this year was impressive too...that second goal had me drooling

But yeah...as far as quality of opposition...last night was up there
