Difficult one really, if you judge it on the quality of the opposition you have to say tonight because that is without doubt the best team City have ever beaten. Add to which despite a spell after they scored when it looked like we could be in for another humping off them, we could with a tad more luck and better finishing have had another couple of goals. Forget the penalty we should have had Kun or Kev would have missed the bloody thing anyway.

The away win in Sevilla was a very very good performance, but I would say this was better. Sevilla are an excellent side in Europe and we demolished them. But overall without doubt this was just sensational. We carved them open and made their players disappear. No one was talking about Suarez, Messi, Neymar - you could be forgiven in that second half for wondering if they were on the pitch and that shows how good we were. Not many teams will do that to them.

yes. Not a total domination game where we play silky football, it was much more than that. It was teamwork and passion and togetherness. They are becoming a machine, and that's always a good sign of a trophy winning team.

For years now they have said this Barcelona side is not only the best team in the world but one of the best teams in history. To not only beat them after going a goal down but to positively paste them into submission in the second half surely means this is the best we have ever played.
Sure, we've had some amazing results in the prem these past few seasons but I've never seen such determination to overcome and dominate a world class team before. Wonderful!

To come from 1-0 down, when we have struggled to do so recently, against the best club team in the world, totally fantastic. Brilliant team effort, everybody gave their all. Pep's half time changes were excellent. KDB tremendous in the middle rather than wide. We were world class.

He sounded very bitter last night. Told a City caller to stop listening if he didn't like what he was saying. Someone obviously had a word in his ear about insulting listeners because he quickly back tracked.
