Couple more manchester jobs for graduates have just been sent through.

Ernst and Young have opened some of their grad schemes

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.ey.com/uk/careers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.ey.com/uk/careers</a>

I know they look for grads in things like audit, technology, accounting and consulting. Great firm to get started with if you want to go that route

and if anyone was interested in recruitment, the James Caan Academy (of dragons den fame) is looking for 14 staff:

If any of the younger BM-ers (16 to 24 ideally) would be interested in doing an Apprenticeship I work for a College that has loads available all round Manchester in different sectors.

I don't want this thread to turn into an argument about them being slave labour or a waste of time etc but these are genuine jobs so if anyone's interested just pm me.

This fella might have a vacancy:

Looking for part-time work for a month (end date is mid-September for when I go off to uni), doing a masters in management, switching from Archaeology, so would ideally prefer something business related or with business elements. No previous experience, unless archaeological digs count, other than a bit of research work for my dad over summers. Manchester based, needs to be accessible by public transport.

It's a very long shot but I desperately need some work experience (however brief), even if somebody on here is happy for me to come in a couple of days a week, even for free, just to shadow them in a business-related area, then as long as I am able to CV it then I'm more than willing to do something like that. I literally just want to get some experience and start learning the ropes and pick up basic skills in the aforementioned areas to take forward into full employment after my degree.

If anybody's open to this then I'd be more than grateful.

Not exactly a job, but the possibility of getting some cash from a market research company: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.researchopinions.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.researchopinions.co.uk</a>
Need to register, then hope they get in touch.

Meanwhile, I finally start work on Monday, after nearly a year of frustration. Thanks go especially to Chabal for help and support, not only with my CV, but also by giving me a practice interview. It worked! The pay's just about a living wage, so not great, but it's a brilliant bunch of people at the office, and to be honest, that outweighs the shite pay. Good luck to everyone else on here.
