Does anyone have any experience of online assessments for graduate jobs?

I have just finished my degree in electrical and electronic engineering (hope to get a first) and I am contemplating applying for some graduate jobs. I have also worked in the semiconductor industry for 13 years.

I am just after what is entailed with the online assessments for graduate jobs and if anyone has any tips to do well in them.

I know someone who owns their own electrical engineering company if you want their details?
I know he is looking for staff

Bump for Metrolink vacancies .

I would go for the Customer Service Staff role, but problem is I would hate to miss most of the matches because of shifts and then get a load of abuse from City fans complaining about the service.

If I was covering the Rag matches there would be no problem.

You've done the right thing in my opinion. I'd happily do shifts if it meant I loved the job. Aye, missing matches isn't great, but I absolutly hate doing 9 to 5. It means I have to do everything like food shopping at the same time as the masses. So, I'd rather sacrifice matches than mingle with the masses. Luckily for the last eight years I've been on flexi so I can start and finish whenever I want. That's the only thing I am going to miss when I get made redundant.

I think so dobo and I reckon i'll still,by hook or by crook......be able to attend at least 50% of games.

Do you get shift allowance?

I know it's not the same as being at the match, but if I end up with a shifts job I take some comfort knowing that Shadowgiz and TCIB are excellent at providing full match downloads. Not bad to watch the match and chill after a days work.

Yep,i get looked after at work after but there's nowt like being at the match.....I couldn't get to the final game and, personally,it took the gloss off ever so slightly.
