What is refreshing about this thread is that whilst there are some obvious songs that many might have guessed would be there, they are not all obvious picks, and there is scope for some of the more interesting selections to progress.
But it is just a bit of fun.

I managed to sneak a couple through...one by the skin of its teeth. The other three failed miserably, but I'm not hugely surprised and I probably wouldn't pick them if I was asked again - not based on them losing in this - purely on the fact that I don't have a set list of favourite songs really and they're changeable based on my mood. Having said that, the two that are through I'm sure I'd pick again!

To call a song shit is lazy and ignorant really. Not liking a song because of xyz
is fair enough.
