Without the video i find it at average at best song.
So much so I have not even thought about of listening to the original.

Agreed. Common People is played so much on radio that it’s unbearable.

Common People - overplayed but for very good reason. Oasis vs Blur were the story of the 90's music scene but neither nailed a song like this one.
