First one has better lyrics but the second one has a great intro. Neither is as good as Enjoy The Silence which has been booted out unfairly. I demand a recount or something.

So tough this, listened to both and decided if I could only listen to one for the rest of my life it would be Gimme Shelter..It is just more entertaining as a song imho. Jaggers voice fits perfectly, the woman's voice whose name I forget is just right. Love the lyrics and the overall atmospheric sound is brilliant.

Oh and finally

The guitar work is just so fucking fantastic.

Bob we live in a post-truth world, just declare Enjoy The Silence's win as an alternative fact and job's a good 'un. I will say though if you announce we're marching on Blue Hammer Towers on the day of the final I'm definitely out.
