I'm glad some of you are seeing what
actually happened in that "fight". That, yeah, there was a serious lack of the actual word from one "boxer"!
Jake Paul embarrassed himself, hugely. To think he was training for a guy 5' 9" originally!!
@GornikDaze was absolutely bang on dropping the Laurel and Hardy YT clip earlier (one of my absolute favourite 'L & H' films by the way, so thanks for that!), cos that's
exactly what I was looking for in my head when watching the circus event!
I'm really not sure how anyone can criticise Joshua for not KO-ing Paul "in the first round"?? You could, visablly, see how frustrated Joshua was getting with the antics (and potential embarrassment) of Paul's game plan of sticking (??) and moving (running) and aiming for a points win/ freak lucky punch. I would feel the same expecting a fight, not a marathon!!
So, under these extraordinary circumstances and Jake Paul's almost effect mind games, I thought Anthony Joshua did quite well in a 22 sq ft ring!! I think now Jake Paul knows what a real heavyweight feels like and won't ever fight at the weight again. But he, also, doesn't have the power and technique to fight at cruiserweight either.
I think he'll wind down his "project" within 2 years if he keeps pursuing real boxers with actual skills.
