Can't even be arsed watching Fury, there's playing it safe, and then there's him, it's a bit of a shame as I think he does have talent, but he just doesn't seem to want to make the sacrifices and test himself hoping to sneak his way to a world title shot or big pay day, if he manages that it'll be like a house built on sand and he'll be found seriously wanting.

You knew what Hennessy was thinking when Price was number 1 contender for the British title. Fury dropped the belt and took him to fight Roggie for the Irish lol.
Now he has 2 fights that could and should be made Price and Mike Perez 2 young fighters who will give Fury all kinds of problems.

Tbh mate I don't think he'll touch either unless there's a good belt or a huge payday to be had, Price completely nulifies every weapon Fury has and is the best one out of the lot for me, I rate him very highly, Perez is just too good and dangerous, I've no doubt Fury would get his shit together should they ever happen, but the solid grounding just won't be there if he continues as he is, he's learning next to nothing from what I can see mate.

I know that mate but he is with the wrong promotor. Looking at the promotors out there. Hennessy and Warren will always protect there fighters 0s. While Matchroom seem to be testing there fighters and making fights that are really a pick em. Tonights and Froch v Bute. Also I am hearing Tony Bellew will be teaming up with Matchroom as well. Watch Bellew be put in with some top class fighters when he makes the move. Even Matchroom with Frampton they have been looking to get Quigg since Frampton signed with Matchroom and now they are after Marthinez for him who with any other UK promotor he would be still in or looking at fighting bums.

That's true about playing it safe but to be fair to him it's easy to forget that he is still only 23 so plenty of time for him to make a step up in class. The biggest problem for him is that the public might lose interest in him before he makes that step

I know you know that mate, but you can only blame the promoters for so long as far as I'm concerned, there comes a point where a boxer, in this case Fury, he's clearly not stupid and neither are the people around him, he has to look at what's going on and take responsibilty for his own career, there comes a point where Fury has to start pushing that and testing himself, I think that point came awhile ago mate.

He's 23 and looks older than me, and I'm twice his age lol, no it's a fair point mate 9as is the public losing interest is), but along with that you have to have the correct mentality, patience and lifestyle, I'm not convinced Tyson has that, you only have to read some of the more personal and indepth interviews with him to see how much he struggles with his downtime between fights.

So for one, I'm not convinced his 'shelf life' is as long as people think (unless he changes quite a few things in his life) and two, in a division that's notorious for a fighter being one punch from disaster, I don't see the point in taking too many chances where there's no gain or reward, I'd much rather a fighter have the mentality and get into the habit where he knows he's facing credible opposition and knows his focus has to be spot-on, it stands them in good stead for the future, progression and getting the balance right is key, and I feel this is not right for Fury and hasn't been for a while.

But that's just my thoughts on the matter as it presents itself, there may be reasons in his life I may not be aware of.

To be honest Fury wont have much problem getting support. Hennessy has brought him tto Ireland to fight a few times and if he is willing to put on a show up in Belfast or anywhere around Ireland there will be fight fans all around Ireland willing to go to watch the freak show in action lol.
