Must be horrible for any boxing ref, if you don't stop a fight and 1 extra hit puts a guy to the mat with a life changing injury or even worse you have that on your conscience for the rest of your life, on the other hand you can literally cost a fighter their career.

DeGale and Froch are not necessarily likeable characters hence people feel outraged however both stoppages stopped the opponent being ko'd clean cold IMO.
