The Boxing thread

People seem to have more money than ever, I've seen very little signs of anybody on the bread line. We seem to be one of the few families who are being very careful with everything
It hasn't hit a lot of people yet, lad I work with, his fix on energy runs out in May, his mortgage fixed rate finishes in June, he reckons he's going to have to find an extra £500 a month and has no clue where it will come from, he's saving what he can now which isn't a lot. He's shitting himself.

the last time I watched a boxing match on PPV was Anthony Joshua running away from an out of shape Andy Ruiz to regain the titles he lost the previous summer, a complete waste of money.
With the different organisation’s and ppv etc it’s all kind of disappeared into the margins. The big fights we want to see never get made because it’s more lucrative to fight journeymen within your own organisation. Whilst Fury deserves credit for the way he came back and his unbeaten record, the stage managed stuff is dull and I really didn’t give two fucks about his recent exhibition matches.

Chisora thanking Fury for his xmas money.
What a joke sport boxing as become.
Straight after the fight i watched The Kings documentary i'd recorded, about Hagler Sugar Ray Duran and Hearns.
Men who boxed and who had talent

Didnt watch it but saw a video of chisora and fury sitting down for burgers after. Chisora was obviously battered and sounded muddled. Fury was fresh as a daisy. Pointless fight from a boxing stand point.
