I've always thought that those people who label Mayweather as a "ducker" are just people who can't stand the guy on a personal level and just need something to throw at him.

It's complete bollocks and deep down they know that.

Floyd v Guerrero and then Floyd v Canelo promises to be brilliant watching.

"You all think I’m scared, I’m a coward? Well guess what? I’m a rich, scared coward. I’m a rich coward" - Floyd Mayweather.

'Nuff said.

Prizefighter international heavyweights tomorrow should be a laugh, the latest instalment of the Fraudley circus. Fancy Rogan to pull off one more night to remember.
I went to the last one in Wolverhampton, after the Fulham game, and what it lacked in quality it made up for in excitement.
When is Price fighting his next OAP? Is that tomorrow? The Harold Shipman of British boxing.

[quote="leighton"Now no one can say that Money is taking a easy fight a 4 weight world champion still only 29 a young fighter hitting his peak against a seasoned pro in Money. This fight is going to be a classy fight. I think this will be Moneys hardest fight so far. Still think he may well get the decision but I wouldnt be shocked if it was a split decision with the 2 also having a rematch after the fight in the favour of Money.

It's a shit, predictable fight as I said a couple of weeks ago. If Mayweather doesn't UD him I will stop posting in this thread.

Also, the deal Floyd has signed with showtime is for 'up to' 6 fights. He won't fight 6 times in 2 and a half years.

The 2 guys fighting on the undercard are better than Mayweather's opponent haha, what a shambles. Canelo is only on this card so it gets more PPV buys.[/quote]

Conor its too early for the Canelo to fight Money. Its all building up to a fight later on in the year. IF Canelo looks good against Trout which will be Canelo's hardest fight. The winner of that fight will be the next in line to fight Money. Trout's a good fighter might not have a 1 punch KO punch on him but he is a strong fighter and could well upset Canelo its a real pick em fight. I would be taking a close eye on this fight and if there is good odds for either fighter I will be lumping on Trout think Paddy Power has him at a little bit over 2/1 now.

Both Canelo and Trout have beat better guys than Guerrero, as has Martinez for that matter. Guerrero's best win is an Andre Berto coming off a slapping from Ortiz.

Martinez, Trout, Canelo. Any of those 3 is acceptable.

Guerrero is under rated a 4 weight world champion and in your trying to say that its not acceptable for this fight to get the go ahead. Come on Conor there is nothing wrong with this fight. Its a good fight both fighters have gone up the weights and won world titles its far from being a shit fight.

Prizefighter. Roggie is too old and should hang them up. A good fighter but its too big of a ask with shoulder problems aswell. I have gone for Albert Sosnowski to win it outright.

Listen mate, you were saying there was nothing wrong with the Devon Alexander fight last week. You are obviously blinded when it comes to Floyd's choice of opponents.

It is a shit fight. Who cares about belts? Who has he beat to win them? He has had 2 fights since moving up from lightweight ffs.

The 3 names I've mentioned have all beaten better opponents and are more deserving of the fight.

Stop saying Canelo isn't ready for Mayweather as well. He's more ready than Guerrero will ever be and he brings in massive PPV sales. In an ideal world for Floyd, Trout will beat Alvarez and then Floyd won't have to fight the winner because 'Trout isn't a PPV attraction'.

Bullshit mate. I mentioned pages back that he could well be using Alexander as a way to get this fight on and that was the case. Your on about PPV sales Guerrero v Money will do well even if Canelo wasnt on the card. Canelo is a good fighter that needs to be tested a little bit more before he is ready for the fight with Money. I wouldnt be shocked if this fight is a year away for Canelo. He will have a point to prove when he fights Trout so lets see how he does on the same card as Money. Its simple. If I was managing Canelo I would wait until next year for the Money fight. Catch him a year later and he could well be beatable in my opinion. I get the feeling with you Conor you just dont want to give Money any praise at all 1 of the most techincally gifted fighters of all time.

Bullshit? Are you saying you didn't defend that fight? Alexander being 'the only available fight' was your reason for defending it if I remember rightly.

If you think Goldenboy wouldn't take the Mayweather fight for Canelo now rather than risk him getting beat off somebody else then you've got a screw loose. Floyd wants the fight he gets it, simple.

Go through my posts on in this thread on Floyd over the years and you'll see I've given him his due on many occasions. The difference is that I will also pull a fighter (any fighter) up when they're taking the piss, whereas you seem to lap up literally anything the man says. I've never seen you say a bad word about him and defending Devon Alexander as an opponent only further establishes your bias.

He is the most technically gifted of his generation but he consistently fails to take on the threats like all the greats did, so legacy wise he'll never be ranked up there at the top of the all time lists when all is said and done.

Too many posts to go true on here. Conor we wont agree on it. I honestly think Canelo is a year away from having a chance of beating Money. I have seen enough of both. Money is showing slight signs of weakness he is getting on now. I aint a fool. I know what I see in Money and just how good he has been during his time in the ring. With the Cotto fight Money was showing the slight signs of age it seemed to me.
So this 6 fight deal or whatever he has signed Money will be doing well to hold onto his unbeaten record. You got to know when to retire. I honestly think Money will fight the winner of the Canelo fight at the end of the year or early October if all fighters are injury free. I will just think for Canelo the later he fights Money the better chances he has of winning the fight.
Its all about opinions mate. Just like over the years with the likes of Amir Khan we have had words about him in the past or it could of been someone else. But boxing is all about opinions. Any fighter has a chance in any fight thats why I love the sport and always will do. The boxing world need Cocky unlikeable fighters like Money and Broner but both seem to back it up in the ring. All the fans go to watch both fighters in the hope that both will get beaten but you just got to love them both.
