Another impressive performance from Frampton last night and no doubt he will have learned a lot. Certainly think he has a big future and seems like a decent kid still reckon Quigg is the better fighter but only time will tell should be a great fight when they meet.

Thought the Selby fight was a cracker as well and the atmosphere was awesome, hats off to the Belfast boxing crowd.

Hopefully this year we get Quigg v Frampton and Fury v Price.

Quigg wont fight Frampton. They could of got it on years ago when both fighters were on Sky. Hatton wont put Quigg in there with Frampton. Last night Frampton was open big time. He missed Gerry Storey in his corner lasty night dont know what happen with Gerry last night.
Yet again Frampton has called out Quigg again but then again looking at both fighters. Frampton has beaten the better fighters in Monitor and Kiko compared to Munroe for Quigg. I want Frampton to fight for a World title for my bet to come in so hopefully that happens sooner rather than later for me.

Bloody hell Leighton give Quigg a break for once in your life ,
Molitor was way past his best as was Kiko the same could be levelled at Munroe.
I promise you a 100% that Quigg wants the Frampton fight and I hope you win your bet as Quigg will beat Frampton on points.

However I still have enormous respect for Frampton perhaps you could have the same for Quigg?

Quigg on points mate come on I know you rate Quigg highly just dont get me wrong your saying about Kiko and Monitor being way past there best??? Really who did Quigg beat of note. A aging Jason Booth and Rendal Munroe hardly world beaters. I will give Quigg his due but avoiding the fight for so long. He was in troble against Jamie Arthur who had him down in his fight. Frampton has shown he can take a shot Quigg not so much.

Look at the Belfast crowd last night and Frampton was fighting in front of he has sold out that arena in his last 2 fights. He is being watched by fight fans all over Ireland they will go from anywhere in Ireland to watch Frampton. I know for a fact Eddie Hearn said it if a fight is to be made Quigg has to be active and he even basically said that he will have to take whats on the table in a offer as Frampton sells out venues while Quiggs fanbase wouldnt be nears Framptons. I want him in with 1 of the champions for my bet to come in. I cant wait to see who Frampton goes in with next as he is getting better and better all the time. European Champion next progression is to fight for a World title fight and hopefully its this year.

I'm a little behind in the Rees/Broner bout but Gavin looked good in the first two rounds (and probably won them) but is getting picked apart here in the third.

-- Sun Feb 17, 2013 1:51 am --

More on Rees/Broner

Rees down hard in the fourth on an uppercut, Broner is really using the hand speed and teeing off. Rees is showing heart and still throwing

A game effort from Rees, Broner was a class above, would like to see him in with someone with a punch as he can be caught

Broner/Bradley at 140 makes a lot of sense to me.

Bradley fight wont happen. Next up is the winner of Ricky Burns fight. Broner is a flashy cocky fighter who can back it up. People will either love him or hate him.

You've got to love him, but just 1 or 2% humility wouldn't go amiss

I know its like watching a modern day Naz when I look at him. Hes going to take over from Money when he retires. Americans love cocky fighters and in Broner they have the ideal 1.

I think Americans (of which I am one) love to see cocky fighters lose just like everyone else.

Broner's a class act in the ring and a nice lad doing a piss poor impersonation of Floyd Womanbeater outside it. How poorly advised must the kid be to try to ape that charmless criminal's brash persona in public. When interviewed by arselicking Yanks he throws in all these appallingly scripted lines mid interview that are totally cringeworthy, yet when he popped over to have a word with Rees and Adam Smith grabbed him for a few words he revealed himself to be a decent lad once his paid goons weren't around to "laugh" at his lines.

I think he'll hang on to fight Burns/Vasquez at lightweight as there isn't a megafight at 140 for him. With all due respect to Garcia, he didn't look like a world class fighter until Khan left his chin dangling in the air so I can't see him troubling Broner unduly. Rios might be an interesting fight as would Khan with his new found focus on defence.

It's gonna be fun to watch this kid develop
