The Boxing thread

Whyte's said on SSN he would love to fight Chisora.

Two overweight thugs, the fight the worlds always wanted too see.
Yeah Whyte wants a rematch hearing him saying he took cortosone before the fight is mad as the damage that was done to the shoulder has him out for a few more months now. Some good fights coming up. The weekends fights in the US will be fun while it lasts. Also Haye on Dave will be worth a look too.

Hearing the undercard of Quigg v Frampton isnt that great at the moment. They have Luke Campbell and Ryan Burnett. The card will be full of Irish fighters so dont expect a great card. For the British fans but the fights between the Irish lads will be close fights and worth a look at. I think with anything it wont do great numbers on PPV if there isnt a great co main event which hasnt been made yet.

I hear David Haye hasn't sold and it's going to be shown for free. Tragic for a fighter like him.

Not really Haye will get the people to watch his fights he is a brilliant self promotor. How many sales did him v Audley Harrison do?? How many him v Valuez and Klitschko?? He hasnt been fighting in years so giving the first fight for free as you say. The next fight if he goes after AJ which will happen it will be box office then onto Fury within 2 to 3 fights if Hayes shoulder is ok he could well be fighting for a World title.

Deontay Wilder fights Szpilka live later on Sky, wasn't that impressed with Wilder in his last fight and I still think Fury would be too strong for him. Josh not quite ready for the big boys but will be a good work out with del boy.

Can't decide if I want to see Haye get KO'd tonight or see him win and go after AJ and then watch AJ KO him. Hmm.
