Good luck to john murray tonight in his fight with mitchell its gonna be a tough
night for both boxers . Im going for john cos hes a local lad & hes got joe
gallagher in his corner who i reckon is a top trainer
so come on murray.

Spot on mate, Joe's been in the game from being a kid like ten years old, used to spar with him myself and he was a very good boxer in his own right, the great thing is though, for most of that time he had the legend that was Jimmy Egan (R.I.P bud) as his mentor, for those that had any dealings with Jimmy then I know he needs no further introduction, he's had some top grounding Joe and really knows his stuff so it doesn't surprise me he's doing so well.

C'MON JOHN !!!

I see vitali has started making noises about the chance of fighting haye .
It seems like he fancys some of that cash that his younger brother got
for shutting hays big mouth . Ive always thought haye wouldnt retire just
yet & it looks likely that this fight could be on .
Though vitali is a few years older than his brother i think hes a better fighter
& could well put haye to sleep around 6th round then that should prompt haye
to finally call it a day .

Vit is a brilliant fighter at his peak he was in my views one of the best going. I honestly think if Vit boxed Lewis again he would of beaten Lewis a nasty cut on that night forced the retirement of Vit and Lewis retired straight after the fight.

Regarding a fight with Haye Vit is getting on now. I think he should retire Haye would have a great chance against Vit as his movement isnt there any more in my view. If Haye stands and slugs it out with Vit it could be troble for Haye but quicker movement and Haye may well be pick of Vit in my view. I wouldnt mind seeing Haye v Vit and it wouldnt shock me if Haye won this fight mainly because of Vits age and suddenly it shows in the ring. That was the worst I have seen Haye in years he is better than that and his injury must of been a cause to how poor he was. 1 last big Pay day Beats Vit and he can retire with his head held high. Depending on him if he is willing to wait around for a fight this fight wont happen this year but will Haye be willing to fight on just for the money sake or not.
It'll be another one sided win for the Klitschko's if Haye predictably goes back on his word and carries on Boxing.

-- 16 Jul 2011, 11:05 --

Murray will stop Mitchell tonight I reckon. Too big for him, Mitchell is damaged good now as well.

I agree hopefully John has met the weight ok and should be to strong(I hope)
Some cracking fights on the bill, looking forward to the Bellow fight as it was a cracker last time, Burns is getting better all the time and Gavin is a top prospect.

Should be a great night, Come on John Murray.

Bellew is a **** of the highest order. What a fucking gimp he is. He does be on a Boxing Website I go onto. He doesnt take criticism well. I told him in his last fight against McKenzie he was lucky to get the win and maybe the ref should of stopped the fight when he got his second knock down. Also the stoppage of McKenzie was 1 of the worst I have seen in a long long time. I told him he got his Frank Warren get out of jail card free win. He wasnt happy even asked me to go and get in the ring with him. Giving it the big bollocks stuff. I hope he gets sparked out tonight.

Ha ha, I remember you mentioning that mate, think we spoke at the time but didn't realise it went that far though, said to Larry at the time that Bellow came across as a really unpleasant individual, he backed his mate as being ok ( but I would've done the same tbh, think most would in those circumstances) but I do agree with you, he was VERY fortunate that night, will be a cracker this one I'm sure.

How is Larry getting on when is he getting back into the ring? That last fight against Big John McDermott I would have a question mark over if he will fight again. No disrespect to McDermott but Larry should be looking at beating the Big Johns of the boxing world.

Spoke to him last week mate, Tom Dallas seems a real possibilty at the moment, possibly September, but yeah I think the defeat affected him really badly at the time, he trained his balls off for it but John just read his game plan to a tee,(I even mentioned to him about Johns hooks as he's coming in and he was aware of it :-S ) don't get me wrong Larry knows where he's at and his limitations, plus time's not on his side but I think that makes him more impatient and nervous and that showed more than ever in that fight, he fights to make a living for him and his family so I guess that's a big weight on his shoulders to carry, and will probably be his downfall unfortunately.

Tom Dallas seems a bit of risky fight to me for Larry. Is Warren still looking after him? As if he is I hope he is sorting Larry out for this high risk fight. Dallas went in at short notice and got sparked out by Price a couple of weeks ago. Before that Maloney was expecting good things from him. I hope Larry comes back strong but in this case for both Dallas and more so Larry if he looses it could well be the end of it for him. Normally a good promotor would put them in with a winable fight before a 50/50 fight.

Looking forward to watching Curtis Woodhouse box also.

Bellew is shite.

I cant see Sky showing the Woodhouse v Gavin fight live. They only have 2 more hours. Burns world title fight next then the Murray fight. Only if Burns KOs Cook then there wont be any coverage of Gavin v Woodhouse.

Warren what a sly fucker he is. Cook out of the ring so long and on top of that he had a back injury trust Old Frank to get scam the Liverpool fight fans out of there dole money. Bellew got booed by his home crowd. Now the crowd are booing the Burns fight.

Hopefully we get to see Frankie Gavins fight next then the Murray fight.

I was surprised to hear it too mate, Big John was at the last chance saloon which made him very dangerous, I think Tom Dallas is in a similar position although I suppose that works both ways.
I assume he's still with Frank Warren though, he's not mentioned anything and I'm sure he would have if something had happened.

Some odd goings on tonight.
