The Boxing thread

Wilder's actually a decent chap. I've seen a few of the more candid interviews and he's nothing like the typical brash American boxer. Not looking forward to him being billed as the bad guy.
 
Not convinced Fury knows he will win this fight against Wilder, he seems to be just playing the pantomine part just then but the look in the eyes says it all.

Fury has no power, no chance of knocking him out. Would have to be a masterclass to avoid Wilder's windmills too
 
I can't get my head round the fact that fury has been out for a couple of years, comes back and boxes a bum for 10 rounds and is now fighting wilder for the WBC belt?
Have I missed something?
Am I right in saying why isn't Joshua fighting wilder?
 
Seriously, how can someone as big as Tyson Fury have zero punching power. Hearn should let these fools scrap it out, can only see Wilder winning even though he doesn't know how to box. AJ is on a different level, Whyte beats both.
 
very poor fight and to much WWE going on for boxing and my liking ?? tyson is milking the fans by taking the piss and the last 2 fights i've see tyson just dancing and show boating and not boxing and no punches throw or landed nothing, and seen better fights in town after closing time and chucking out by the ladies and the handbags

anybody going to pay £20 pay per view to watch tyson vs wilder save your money or go to the pub and get in free because it will be a shocker and both are overrated and don't want to fight AJ or anybody with a good boxing back ground
 
Love Fury, he just makes me smile. Calling AJ a shithouse and then saying he’s going to “knock Wilder the fuck out” live on tv, classic.

Definately agree....what i would say is that at least Wilder and AJ are trying to restablish heavyweight boxing in the right way. But it has to be revamped in order to win its fans back, its whole structure and how fights are scheduled etc needs addressing
