Just heard about Groves v Murray on the undercard, looking forward to that.

Got to say both guys will fight anyone think George will have too much and might win on points if he gets a late stopage it will be some statement whoever win gets a title shot.
James DeGale next weekend should be a decent fight too think DeGale wins but would like to see him trying to get a unification fight sometime sooner rather than later.
So far he's been nothing but media driven hype, and to be fair to them it's worked. I doubt even they themselves expected it to work this well but AJ already has a huge casual fan base. What's sad is how a lot of the same people never supported Amir Khan when he was given the same treatment, I remember going to the Barrera fight and there was loads of English lads with Mexican flags and hats supporting Barrera. Found that quite sad.AJ has just caught on with the public, Olympic gold, built like an Adonis, KO artist, says the right things
He's our De-La-Hoya. All my mates who are just casual fans now ( well his last 2 fights ) we organise a poker night, get in someone's man cave and book the fight
Hearn is just making what he can out of it
Apparently contracts have been signed between Kovalev v Ward for a fight in the fall.
Really hope this is true.
Groves Murray should be a cracker. Murray's a tough tough man but GGG punched some of that out of him and facing a naturally bigger man and probably a better boxer is a tough ask at his age.
You can't blame Fast Eddie for tricking the gullible casual boxing fan by making all AJ's fights PPV but it sticks in my craw to see the totally unproven AJ trousering small fortunes for knocking over bums
DeGale's lined up to face the winner of Jack/Bute before the inevitable rematch with Groves if he keeps winning
The thing is though the heavyweight division is littered with bums compared to AJ, he's bringing the excitement which has been lacking, he's not been at pro level all that long and tries to give fans realistic expectations when he does speak to the press. As for Hearn he is just doing his job, AJ isn't ready for Fury, Klitschko or Haye yet and they've been honest about that... but IMO he will be in time if he continues on the path of progression he's on. He need's to climb levels rather than jump right in, maybe some more lesser known but dangerous undefeated fighters then onto Wilder or Parker then go for the mega fights until he is the mega fight. Wilder is someone I think AJ has already surpassed(skills, power, quality of opponent about the same, got there sooner too), he's been knocking out bums and enjoying the hype train for way longer. I'd like to see that fight made, maybe put him in with a couple more dangerous opponents first but get there before Fury does.
