AJ who they put him in next with will get more and more hope from this fight. I didnt think Povetkin could get AJ in much trouble but how wrong was i. I honestly feel Hearn and Matchroom will go with AJ V Whyte 2 rather than the winner of Fury v Wilder and if they do that I think Whyte will be the more dangerous fight for AJ. Last time carrying a injury into the AJ fight he rocked AJ a full training camp behind him a closer fight for me.

What an absolute shambles that PPV was, Hearn got away with it for Whyte Parker because the undercard chucked up a few shocks. Saturday night was predictable and garbage, Okolie Askin dull, Campbell Mendy not great. Price going into the fight with a bicep tear, what a piss take.

The worst part of it all? On friday we get Smith vs Groves for £16.95 and and not a single worthwhile fight on the undercard. Boxing is not heading in a good direction.

Agreed. Unfortunately Sky don't have the budget to pay the fighters so World Level fights have to be PPV. Unfortunately again, because Joshua is such a draw, his fights don't need to be stacked with a strong undercard.

I've had enough to be honest and forked out for IPTV. Watched the fight on it on Saturday and was really good so sound investment.

I wouldnt have minded shelling out if the undercard had been decent because I didnt think the main event was as bad as people were saying but the closer we got to fight week and i realised he wasnt announcing any more fights I couldnt believe it. Looking at december now too, probably about 4 PPVs in that month alone, right before christmas.

Dont buy the PPVs none are worth it. Groves v Smith will be a good fight. The undercard is shit Eubank Jnr against JJ McDonagh really thats a poor fight for Eubank Jnr not worth a fee but the main event would be PPV on Sky.
Thats the thing Sky seem to think all there fighters are PPV worthy. Brook , Bellew , AJ and then you will also have the likes of Smith when he is back on Sky if he beats Groves thinking he is PPV standard too. Its a joke. Not many people really are but if the fights are worthy a fee then so be it. The scary part is that Dylian Whyte and Khan could also be PPV fighters soon.

Brook has a few fights left in him as does khan and that’s the biggest pay day for for brook at least. If khan gets flattened by pacquiao or brook by his opponent then that fight will be a hard sell, they’ll have to spit at each other at press conferences or say something bigoted to spice it up.

Fury is capable of beating them both in very ugly fights though. The guy is skilled awkward massive and surprisingly fast. If fury beats wilder he’s guaranteed at least another two big pay days after that, and if he beats Joshua then that makes Tyson fury the greatest bloody heavyweight of his era. Can you believe that? Watched the fat lanky tit jive to the ring in a rag shirt years ago and to think that man could unify the heavy weight division twice is frightening.

Well if the Brook v Khan fight doesnt happen now it will never happen. It has to happen. That will sell on PPV i would agree. I think the undercards have to be better. Saying that it might not get better until Hearn signs more fighters for the US fights. It also doesnt help when you have Callum Smith on itv sport in the Ali series and next you will have Burnett that they will lose to that. Until the sign more it will be poor fight cards. Were just waiting for more ams to turn pro in my eyes. I dont mind the NXT Gen shows there really good and i feel the likes of Ritson and few others will be pushed into the next stage of there set up to eht World title levels so they will go onto the cards of AJ , BELLEW and Khan v Brook. There is some cards where they could get a good show with 1 great main event. But you need to going to Belfast or Dublin and get some of the fighters fighting each other with Katie Taylor as the main even that would be a huge exciting night of boxing.

Groves & Smith both looked trim at the weigh in. Battle of the jabs for me so Groves win. Nobody's tested Callums chin yet, i reckon tomorrow is the night. Apparently main event due at 9pm. Shame it's in Saudi Arabia hope there's a decent atmosphere.
