Yeah, after the final bell he started to tap Franklin on the top of the head, looks like words were said and Joshua started holding and putting his weight on Franklin, really odd behaviourWas he a dick last night again??

White will be too much for him and I cannot see a title fight happening until he shows a bit more ambition Franklin was handpicked for that fight and should never have gone the distance.AJ is completely done. He knows it. Eddie Hearn knows it. We all know it.
No one expects him to knock people out every time, but since the Ruiz KO loss he's changed his approach. That must have shocked him so much he's reconsidered his approach to boxing. He now tries to box rather than swing. It's about not getting hit, more than hurting the opponent. That's fine, it's sensible longer term. But he's not a great boxer, so he's never winning a world title fight without being more gung-ho. We saw it with the re-match against Ruiz, we saw it with the fights against Usyk, where he was scared about getting hit and didn't use his reach advantage to go for him. He opened up more in the second but not enough to cause issues. And against Franklin it was more of the same.
He's not going to fight Wilder with the power he has.
He should just retire.

Whyte might not be top class but he will stand toe to toe with anyone and has every right to criticise Joshua on that showing as the boxing press constantly blow smoke up his arse. Spencer Oliver said in commentary that AJ is back to showing his best In glimpses. Must have been watching a different fight to meI agree that Joshua looks a shadow of his former self. Unfortunately that's what he'll always be judged against. Won pretty much every round but he's uber cautious because his punch resistance is so poor. Anybody else and they'd get off a lot more lightly and it'd be classed as a decent performance. I personally never fell for all the hype surrounding him and for me he's done well for himself with his level of ability.
Say what you want about Bruno, poor cardio etc but he could take a shot and even in his losses (Tyson aside) he was winning every fight until he gassed out and was stopped. These were all against world champions including Lennox. 38KO's in 40 wins. Think he gets unfair flak.
Couldn't believe Whyte slating Joshua's performance. He literally went life and death with Franklin and got a homecooking decision. Hard to believe the irony. Maybe his battles with Chisora have reduced his already limited brain cell count.

I think even Eddie Hearn is starting to realise that AJ is not the top drawer fighter that he says he is although he is publicly lauding him if he knows anything about the sport it must be dawning on himI agree and it's probably not helpful to him either. Spencer is always blowing AJ off. Is that AJ's fault though? More like Eddie and the PR machine behind him.
I like Whyte's attitude and its quite refreshing that he's willing to take on all-comers. Almost a throwback. Doesn't change the fact he 'won' a very dodgy decision against Franklin and AJ cruised to a unanimous points victory. For what it's worth I had a fiver free bet with Betfair and I had it on AJ getting beat as I'd seen Franklin had a chin against Whyte and no other bet in the fight had real value. So I haven't a vested interest in either fighter.

He had, and this could have influenced it with him retiring 5 weeks after the substance was detected. If he won it would be a no contest now.Thought he had retired
He looks like a big lump of tofu. Wouldn't like a crack off him though.Cool walkout, this Chinese guy looks menacing though
