A lot of it is on Tyson. Tommy is only there because of him and him being present ringside gives him some credibility. And 1 and a half years since he has fought a real fight is a joke.

Tommy was fighting people who turn up to lose in the "pro" ranks, then moved onto complete novices and was unable to stop them relying on decisions, then youtubers and exactly the same result as against the complete novices.

He has been at it 5 years and he either becomes a journey man who fights every other week in the pro-game or gives up under normal conditions, however he earns more than 100 x as much going down the Youtuber route.

He may say he is done with crossover boxing, but he doesn't make any money in mainstream boxing and soon gets hurt.

I agree he just wants bigger offers. I don't think it is fixed but is like me working in the SPAR on £1000 an hour, not what he wants to do but his best option by far.

Well at lest there is some quality boxing night week. Catterall v Linares is a great fight. I really do like Jack, he's a very smooth and classy fighter. I would go as far as saying he is Britain's most under rated fighter. He should be a world champion now and earning big money. Hopefully he puts on a good performance against another quality operator and he starts getting the recognition he deserves.

That was a shocker to deny him that world title. He dominated from start to finish and tactically made Taylor look poor

Fairly obvious the main event was under certain conditions, every right hand Tommy threw went over his head. Absolute shite, you see better action at most white collar events. The only half decent scrap was the one before Logan Paul and they were shit but at least they were proper having a tear up.

Tommy needs to win, but is happy for it to be tight and controversial, a re-match suits all as another way to make money and they're just sat there laughing that they're making millions from doing fuck all.

Defo pal, I don't think Tommy is particularly good but from what I've seen of him he should have absolutely spangled that idiot in less than a round. He looked much better against Jake Paul who actually has a bit of talent and experience.

He's definitely a level above these guys, he's boxed for much longer. But ultimately when a route opens that means you can avoid brain damage and earn a lot more, you take it! Got nothing against them taking that option. He's not going to win a world title, so why earn peanuts getting battered?

I'm a mug for not betting on Fury to win on points though! I've been saying that's what will happen all week.

You did the right thing not having a bet! I did my absolute bollocks betting on Anderson Silva to knock out Jake Paul. Not my best wager.

Agree....the fragmented boxing federations have killed the sport's commercial ability & sustainability allowing other combat sports to fill the gap & in some instances overtake.

UFC may not be for some but can't take deny since the sport is governed under one roof, it makes fights & marketability far more easier to conduct & grow as a sport.

I caught both these silly YT fights on reruns.

Firstly the Paul-Danis fight. It was interesting to see a fighter in Danis realise he's out of his depth and freeze up. But in freezing up, showed the world how little power Paul, actually has. It was Paul, too, that froze up when he couldn't put away an MMA 'fighter' that came to not get knocked out and, therefore, having a 'moral' victory over someone who claims to be a boxer. I think Danis (doubtful that it'll EVER happen after the end antics) would have confidence he could take Paul in a rematch after feeling what 'power' was there.

Both embarrassing in the end; both of them lost that fight.

KSI vs Fury was super interesting for different reasons. The fact that Fury has been 'fighting since he was 5 years old' against an opponent that's been fighting 3 years tops and has only taken it seriously in the last 18 months, speaks VOLUMES about Tom Fury's credentials in the sport.

Fury looked nervous about his own ability to put away a REAL novice in the sport whilst the novice could have fought an orthodox fight and, arguably, would have won.

The KSI guy showed nerves of his own having stepped up past his YT opponents to fight an actual boxer and not get smashed is his own moral victory. I think the YT kid would win a rematch as he learns super quick, it seems.

I can't see Fury wanting the potential embarrassment of losing a rematch. He, clearly, got away with that one.
