The Boxing thread

Can't see anything other than a Loma masterclass. But will be interesting to see how he looks at the higher weight.

There's something about Warrington that really grates on me. Not sure exactly what it is. Hope Selby puts in a big performance, he's due his big night.

Documentary just been uploaded on YouTube called 'Team Loma' great watch.

Just been announced with the full monicker of Hughie Lewis Fury - if so the ring walk is shite - this would really put an opponent off his stride -

Lomachenko with another great performance tonight. P4P he beats anybody for me but I think moving up another weight class would be a step too far.

I had Loma up at the time of the finish but only marginally. Can't see the Garcia fight being made (Top Rank problem), but that would maybe be a step too far anyway.

Would mind seeing Hughie Fury in with Agit Kabayel next for the European Title. Expose himself to the German audience and then chase Manuel Charr for the WBA 'Regular' Title...

Looking fwd to Selby & Warrington later. Can see it kickin off in the crowd. Gate's opened around 2ish and they showed the cup final on the screen's. Pissed up Leeds fans on the chisel.

If he's P4P and I'm not doubting he is because I think he is the top boxer in the world right now after the Linares win (edging out Crawford for me) then there's NO reason why he can't go up even further to super lightweight and eventually welterweigt. Mayweather moved up 5 weight classes. Pacquaio moved up 8. That's what the all time greats do. Loma def has the talent to do likewise.

Warrington is fired up to fuck, I'd much rather an Englishman over a taff, any day of the week. Great atmosphere too, fair play to the Leeds crowd for turning out.

Better round from Selby but it was still close what are BN going on about it having to be Selby's? That's an amateurs mistake when scoring, letting bad rounds flavour your decision in other rounds by contrast, you'd think they'd know better
