Whyte has become the people’s champion, he hasn’t shirked one fight put in front of him, and remains the hungriest in my opinion!

Whyte’s nothing special at all imo and wouldn’t trouble any of the big 3. AJ cleaned his click once and would do just the same if they fought again. He’s gone life n death twice with a years past his best Del Boy and life n death with the limited Parker who was suffering the effects of a severe head butt for a chunk of their fight. He’s fought no one else of note.

Nobody really knows what goes on around the negotiating tables, it’s all hearsay. AJ has nothing to prove against him, Tyson would toy with him like he toyed with Del Boy and Wilder would time him coming in and knock him out cold.
That said, he deserves a shot more than most of the other guys who get shots but I don’t think he doesn’t get the fights because they’re wary of him, it’s more because he’s got unrealistic purse expectations given his bang average resume

Na, Wilder was offered his biggest pay package to date, prior to fury, which was costly refused... I don’t personally think he’d beat Joshua, however he does deserve the shot, as you say..

As for Wider, he’d beat him imo, the guys an absolute joke and would struggle massively with his style, he’d have no answer to his left hooks!

Na, Wilder was offered his biggest pay package to date, prior to fury, which was costly refused... I don’t personally think he’d beat Joshua, however he does deserve the shot, as you say..

As for Wider, he’d beat him imo, the guys an absolute joke and would struggle massively with his style, he’d have no answer to his left hooks!

We only have Eddie’s word for that and who knows what clauses were in the contract regarding future fights etc.

I’d describe Deontay as unorthodox rather than a joke ! Sure he’s got his faults but I think he’s way too fast for Whyte who isn’t hard to find as he lumbers forward.

On the way up you’re in it for the glory, on the way down you’re in it for the money. Twas ever thus.

Khan’s taken enough licks to get a pass for jacking v bud imo. He’s the one gonna be pissin blood, ribs killing him every time he turns over in bed, bad headaches, hurting to eat etc etc for days. We switch the tv over and look at Kim Kardashian’s tits and decide whether to get another beer out of the fridge or not. He doesn’t owe anyone anything.

Flanagan Crolla would’ve been better 2 or 3 years back but I agree it’s still a good domestic matchup.

What is going on with Heavy Weights? Looks like nothing!

AJ's next opponent looks like being a journey man. A waste of a fight.
Fury is fighting a journey man in June and doing a reality TV series in the build up. No sign of a rematch happening.
Wilder fighting Breazeale in May will be interesting and the best fight of the three but he has lost to AJ already, we won't learn much.

This was looking pretty good at one point with some great fights on the cards but they seem a million miles from agreeing anything.

yeah maybe one last fight for Crolla and terry needing to get back in the limelight after the injury lay off, so could work both ways for a fight, but terry hands down wins the fight with being the hungry and better fighter in my book, terry needs a bit of luck after a couple of bad fights with cuts and other little stuff, but maybe also Crolla may land that one bunch and if he trains hard for a fight with terry then it will be defo a great fight

Boxers have an ability to lose masses of weight. They find it harder as they get older and put on more between fights but that is what they do. If you had to lose 2 stone to make a fight that would net you an 7/8 figure sum you would do it. He is only 32.

Highly respected Manchester boxing coach Oliver Harrison has passed away after a long battle with cancer according to numerous social media updates that were posted on Friday.

Harrison, 58, was a former professional fighter who campaigned between 1987 and 1991, but it was as a trainer that he found his calling.

The Salford-based coach worked with Amir Khan, Jamie Moore, Martin Murray, Rocky Fielding and Denton Vassell among others.

A host of luminaries from the British boxing fraternity have offered their condolences to one of the sport’s most respected servants:

Barry McGuigan: RIP Oliver Harrison, a lovely fella and a great boxing man. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Glenn McCrory: My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Oliver Harrison a lovely man and excellent trainer at this very sad time, he had so much to give. God Bless you all.

Have to say, DAZN look the real deal, making the fight was impressive enough but they look like they know how to promote it too. Well produced that was.

Bit torn on this fight, got a lot of admiration for both fighters for different reasons.

I think it's a lot more even than a lot of people have it, Jacobs has good head movement and great footwork(more mobile than Canelo), a natural size advantage and good power. I still think he edged the GGG fight personally, so he's up there on ability.

That wouldn't shock me at all, I'd have made him the slight favourite before the GGG fights but Canelo seems to be getting better all the time, so it really is 50/50 to my eyes. They both have a lot going for them as fighters, I just hope it lives up to what it could be.
