Are you sure about that ? Usyk doesn’t give anyone an easy fight and certainly wouldn’t get done by Rahknan . Don’t forget vitali kl was schooling Lennox before he got stopped on a cut . Lewis is a great but he’d struggle against Usyk .Lennox would beat both of these in the same night.
I thought Usyk did a reasonable job cutting off the ring and landed abetter percentage of his punches whilst look efficient and not getting caught with anything Fury had with his back of the head work and slappy generally sloppy work. I had Usyk by two especially after Fury gave rounds seven and eight a miss for a breatherThat's how it is scored usually. Throw in a few marks for defence and ring work ie holding the centre. But generally it's landing more of the better punches.
I'm really surprised they have put the newly crowned Dubois in with him - too awkw an opponent witho the accolades for beating him.Agreed.
Parker had improved dramatically since appointing Andy Lee as trainer, Think they are together 3 or 4 years now and it's been good for Parker other than the defeat to Joe Joyce.
His performances against Wilder and especially Zhang have been extremely good.
I think he'll beat Dubois on points.
I can see this happening too. It's a pity it's now when they are both on the decline, It would have made for a thrilling contest years ago.Can now see a Joshua fury fight next year and then both walk away into the sunset .
Would he fuck. Lewis lost to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman ffs was also very lucky to beat Klitschko.Lennox would beat both of these in the same night.
Boxing only has itself to blame for people thinking like that though because of how rife it has been with dodgy decisions ever since i can remember. So many had this boring theory, frustrating thing is - If Fury had won deservedly you’ll be saying how right you was and it was all a fix
I was struggling to be enthused with this even when both were at their peak. I have little respect for AJ and think Fury would walk through himFury AJ now? It would still be fun. I'd be in for it.
I think both are diminished and probably at a similar level now. If Fury was to turn up in the state he did last night then AJ has every chance to chin him.I was struggling to be enthused with this even when both were at their peak. I have little respect for AJ and think Fury would walk through him

Lewis would definitely beat both at his best but you're right in he doesn't give most if any an easy fight but this version of Lennox Lewis, in the fight totals below absolutely batters both of them, with no question about it whatsoever on that night he's miles ahead of both...

Lennox Lewis in that first fight against Holyfield nearly landed more in just power punches alone, than either Usyk or Fury landed in total during both these fights...

He was far more well conditioned than both of these guys in a much stronger era to suggest otherwise would be a joke, he hit with more accuracy and power than anybody Usyk has fought and had faster hands than Fury.
Fury despite losing both fights very fairly caught Usyk with a few clean uppercuts in that first fight, those uppercuts are meat and drink to Lewis he'd have dominated the centre of that ring, he'd also pulverised Usyk with those shots even if he had the toughness to pull through.
He's got a great entertaining style Usyk and it's a throwback to more well rounded heavyweight fighters of the past, despite really liking him though he's nowhere near the greatest heavyweights who've ever lived.
Usyk definitely struggled with energy against Daniel Dubois after he went to the body before Dubois then took that knee, this is despite Dubois himself before that fight having question marks over his own conditioning.
Chisora on Usyk's debut at heavy gave him problems to the body and drained him a fair bit even if it was one sided, he's great to watch but the thing is Usyk just stands out amongst a load of slow plodders nowadays.
Against serious pressure fighters of the past like Joe Frazier or Rocky Marciano tough guys who didn't care about taking a few digs to hurt their opponent, guys who cut the ring off expertly and don't stop punching to the body, in my view Usyk wouldn't do well and certainly appear more tired and unable to move as well.
It's bizarre to say this after seeing his torso but Fury is comfortably the most well conditioned fighter (stamina), that Usyk has fought at Heavyweight that's how much the division has tanked.
There's no question that he's a great boxer technically and aesthetically pleasing to watch Usyk, but Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes would dominate him with their jabs alone they were both better conditioned too, Ali is better at absolutely everything but despite saying what I've said Usyk is still a great fighter, I'd rank him as probably holding his own in most eras but he's not as great as many people would have you believe though.

Usky would dance around Holyfield all night and boxed him up.Joe Bugner MKII has never impressed me and as for Usyk another pumped up cruiserweight namely Hollyfield would have taken him to the cleaners.
That being said I know fuck all just making noise here.
Usky would dance around Holyfield all night and boxed him up.

He'd lost 5 times already before he beat Lewis. Never said he wasn't tough but Usyk wouldn't need to knock him out to win he'd just box the absolute fuck out of him.You say that as if Oliver McCall was shite but if he was around in the past decade, then he'd probably have had a great chance of being a long-term champ.
He was a tough bastard nobody ever knocked him out, remember he had that mental breakdown in the rematch which forced the stoppage, he was clearly in no memtal state to fight in the first place which was a real shame on boxing.
He was no mug and Mike Tyson's long-term sparring partner he hit very hard, in the heavyweight division that's all it takes if they can land that one sweet shot and he took his chance against Lewis.
Lennox Lewis avenged the losses he had in his career and fought in a far tougher era.
Agreed.Apart from the obvious fight with Joshua, I can’t really see many options going forward for Fury. If that fight goes ahead, and Joshua beats him (which I think he would, it would have to be the end of the road for Fury, shirley? He's 36 now (not quite Mike Tyson territory, but that was ludicrous), time for the Sanatogen multi-vitamins and the Werther's Originals.
