Could anyone guestimate how much Froch v Groves II tickets might be? I imagine Wembley plus the hype might push the price up!

£30 cheapest tickets

That's not so bad. I'd go up to £50 a pop but am still thinking about it. It's going to hyped to anything and maybe a let down from something more raw.

The only good thing about Froch v Groves expect the undercard to be brilliant for that night. I would expect Kevin Mitchell to be fighting that night against Tommy Coyne. Also whos to say a Murray v either Lee or Macklin to be held as well. Lee Selby in a World title eliminator too could bee added.

the only good thing ?i think it will be a good fight between 2 world class fighters

Anyone fancy Angulo to beat Canelo tomorrow? Canelo 1/7 on favourite but I reckon El Perro can do the business, was very unlucky with Lara last time.

interesting one, he made a lot of money from the Mayweather fight so will be good to see how dedicated he still is

-- Fri Mar 07, 2014 7:24 pm --

Going of his last fight were he was lucky to win a round and got a split decision, Angulo has no chance if it goes to the cards. I've put money on a KO/TKO. The all access show has Canelo training in his garage at home and Angulo training with a former Soviet Olympic coach doing all manner of crazy drills.

I think El Perro's got this.

Can't imagine watching frock at wembley would be great. Remember the Ricky hatton fight at our place and i was in the south stand level two. Couldn't really see anything. Could have been 2 men hugging for all I could see. Best watching on tv.

For the Wembley fight I think now a days with technology it should be straight forward. Put 4 big screens up on top of the ring. Don't forget years ago Ali fought in Croke Park and that's a bigger pitch and venue than Wembley no huge screens but it had thousands in attendance. I think for anything like this Matchroom need to do a German way get something big live music before the fights make it more than the fight and it to be more about the atmosphere it can work.

Angulo looked like a skeleton at the weigh in.

I doubt Golden boy let Canelo lose.

Obvious Canelo wasnt going to make weight then this catchweight appeared from nowhere. The odds are stacked against Angulo but I still believe :)

Whilst he did look gaunt there, normally if you seen guys that are drained they are reaching for water etc. after they step off the scale, he looked comfortable and at ease. At least thats what I'm telling myself.

Angulo's the first proper light middleweight who Canelo's fought and he hits the hardest too. Canelo likes to saunter through rounds working barely a minute out of three. He won't be able to outstrength Angulo like he did to Hatton, Lopez, way past it Moseley etc

But Angulo's limited, he walks up in straight lines, he isn't fast, so Canelo should be able to box him on the outside. But if Canelo hasn't really put the work in or if he tries to outmacho him he'll find that Angulo will be on him all night. Should be a cracking fight.

I'd love to see Kirkland get a chance against Canelo. He'd walk right through him.

Just watching boxing on catch up. Blue on now from Manchester terry Flanagan anyone heard of him or know him?

I remember him winning prizefighter couple of years ago, just checked his record and he's still unbeaten but I can't work out his career.

He won the British title, defended it, won Prizefighter then went back to fighting 6 rounders except for a bizarre bout against former world champ nate campbell.

Just fought 8 rounder against a Bulgarian I think he was went distance but won it easy didn't seem to have power to trouble him

Not to a Mexican it wasn't !

Ref couldn't wait to stop it.
The punch that ended it was so telegraphed that everyone in attendance and watching on TV actually saw the punch before it was thrown. Everyone but Angulo that is.

He was getting shut out and taking flush shots. Doesn't help that he turned up with what seemed like the hand speed of Chris Arreola.

Good performance from Canelo. Lara next.
