The only way you can describe his fighting style is "Drunk Orangutan".

Sheffield has had a fair few, Brooks, Woods, Nelson, Rhodes, Graham, Naseem and jones in the last couple of decades.

Add Farnell to the list of Manchester champions

Robin Reid, Michael Gomez, but I thought the Furys and Dugdales lived in Oswaldtwistle around the time Tyson was born, so I am not sure you where the Manchester connection comes from. Obviously it is more promotable. Tyson's strong Manchester accent proves me wrong...

Congrats to Fury didnt see the fight my rule is i dont watch heavyweight fights involving Vladmir Klitschko his brother was the best heavyweight out of the 2.

Ho do you know if you don't watch them? To be honest the fight was very poor with Fury running away so much I thought he had lost it, but will the rematch clause contain either brother?

Just be greatful that Sky Sports and Adam Smith is pushing to get the big fights on from the UK. Thats why the Quigg v Frampton fight is happening. No doubt we will also see the Khan v Brook fight more than likely and who knows with AJ / Haye v Fury could be made. So too could a DeGale v Groves or maybe even a Crolla v Flanagan fight could also be made.

I watched enough of both brothers once Vitali retired the Wladmir fights were boring and a non contest. Vitali was the best out of the 2 brothers by far and Vitali is retired so no chance of him fighting again. More chance of the rematch in Germany with Wladmir again thats were the money is in heavyweight boxing at the moment.

Yep Vitali is an ATG, he was good enough to be champion in any era. If Wladmir had the chin and balls his brother did he probably could be just as good.

Wlad is still a boss. Tyson Fury (what a name for a heavyweight fighter) is a killer and confident with it. Wladimir is no slouch though. If they do a rematch I'll deffo be watching.

Yeah i remember Vitali v Lewis fight it was Lewis last fight. What a close fight that was only for a cut to stop the fight. IF anything Vitali missed out on a rematch but he retired Lewis no wonder Lewis called it a day after it.

A lot of people will watch the circus show again. I d ont think Wlad will go for the rematch only if he wants 1 more pay day he will. If its in England can see the same result if it is in Germany he has a chance. I am glad Fury is the champion can see some good fights happening. I think all the aging heavyweights might retire the 2 champions are young with 27 Fury and 30 in Wilder both young fighters. We just need to see more fighters coming into the division. For the sake of heavyweight boxing i want Wilder to be unified champion to get more young American fighters getting back into heavyweight boxing again.

I read yesterday Fury was born at Wythenshawe hospital he certainly trained at Egans Gym in Wythenshawe throughout his amateur career. Robin Reid was born in Liverpool wasnt he?

Congrats to Fury didnt see the fight my rule is i dont watch heavyweight fights involving Vladmir Klitschko his brother was the best heavyweight out of the 2. Now you could see some decent fights. With AJ in the future , David Haye is back and training with Shane McGugian and Wilder. Fury v Wilder I would like to see think Wilder wins by ko but it wont happen. Can see Fury v Klitschko 2 in Germany again and Klitschko winning the rematch.

On James Degale it was a closer fight than what the cards had it. Shocked it wasnt closer with Bute fighting at home I had it a point in DeGales favour. Not too sure on DeGale at times he is too lazy he has the talent but the lazy style needs to be sorted. I can see him getting beaten when he fights either George Groves or Callum Smith in maybe a years time.

Callum Smith I can see giving DeGale trouble but, at this point, Groves' confidence must be shot? Lost 3 of his last 5 fights (albeit one was iffy against Froch, although he was definitely in all sorts of trouble when it was stopped). Seems to lose his head and turn too many fights into scraps, where a lucky shot can take you out. DeGale is better than when he lost to Groves previously, I'm not sure Groves can say the same.

Fuck me are we sure he's not a scouser?

Listening to his crowing and his old man demanding journalists bow down to him in his press conference.

If he'd lost he'd have blamed Germany, the ring and even Rod Fucking Stewart.

Having read about Fury's views on gays and threats to journalists I hope whoever he fights next knocks his bloody head off.

The thing is with Groves he has got beaten by Froch twice and Jack 2 of those 3 fights were close losing twice to Froch isnt bad result he has beaten DeGale and the standard of fighters he has fought is of a higher level. Bute who Froch destroyed could of got a win against DeGale there it should of been closer than the scorecards gave it. I am hearing all sorts of rumours about who will train him next Shane McGugian and a few others names too. He needs to make his next choice of trainer the right 1 as he is in last chance saloon he is getting there and in world title fights he will win 1 I think. Also I would even put Martin Murray in there that will give DeGale a real good fight too.

I think thats the way of sorting out the heavyweight division too. I think the weight limit for heavyweights should be 16 and a half stone anything over that limit should be Super Heavyweights in my opinion.
It's ridiculous for me if there's no technical value in the division or any division for that matter. It brought it home to me the other night when I saw Lennox Lewis being dwarfed by him in a post match ring interview. It's a freak show now, imo.

Yeah just think now is the time for a Super Heavyweight division as you say about the size of the fighters and until that changes then there will be no excitement in the heavyweight division.

Them froch losses really destroyed Groves. He was technically better than Froch in those fights but Froch can outgun anyone once the fight becomes scrappy. That's what impressed me so much about Andre Ward, he really made Froch look so average when they fought.
