The one that got away? :-)You know, although I understood what the monarchy was about and loved the way the Queen dealt with her duties, I don’t really give a monkeys about the rest of them, including whatever is going on with H&M in the celeb reality space, but when I see Camilla, the Queen Consort, I feel a sense of detest.

As a Socialist I would argue his labour whilst in the employ of said family is all he has to sell.He, in particular, is selling his family for millions of bucks.
A book on him serving in Afghanistan would probably be a no no on security grounds and why should any person who served in the armed forces have to sell a book to put food on the table
I totally agree, you can chose your friends you cannot chose your family and if his family is anything like mine the dramas he has being involved in are not a patch on ours. We still love each other though as I am certain they do too.I've no doubt he will regret it one day.

Labour is a bit of a stretch Rascal. I'm not sure Labour theory of value and professional handshakers are compatible.

Because it isn't Labour. He doesn't/or didn't produce surplus value by hard work or skill. This is incoherent.
He got a rather good deal in return for the "work" that he was expected to carry out.
Perhaps he should have setup a union or a soviet and gone on strike with Uncle Nonce and some lesser royals.
Can you name anyone with more favourable terms without more responsibility? But the press coverage and scrutiny and effect on his family is something he couldn't bear.
