The only way it can be reformed is by expunging the whole thing. I'm yet to be presented with a single valid reason as to why they are needed. They are a bastardisation of modern democracy.

I'm not watching, just been for a run and now I'm sat on my phone alternating between Chess and this site.

I haven't been watching it. But we live in an age where it's hard to avoid news for too long. My missus has royalist leanings and I had the misfortunate of catching some BBC news earlier; some silly cow asked a little girl who could only have been around four/five years old if she thought King Charles would make a good king. It then panned to Buckingham Palace to show hundreds of mourners smiling and taking selfies. It's choreographed propaganda. These people aren't grief stricken, they're sucking on the teats of media fodder to then go and regurgitate on social media for likes.

So whats it to you? My wifes family are from a military background and she often attends the Trooping of the colour so she’s watched some bits. I’m not bothered though, I don’t think it’s sad but I do realise it’s an historic moment,I’ve caught bits but mainly done other things. Some people might be upset, everyones different that’s okay. Can’t understand why anyone would catch bits and get all hot and bothered about how others react to the situation.

Was going to say if there was a vote tomorrow what do you think the population would vote for, abolish or keep, but i think it would unfairly sway towards keep at the mo.

So take 12 months ago, or even 2/3/4 years ago, what do you think the result would be?

Ive said this before, for whatever reason, the royals bring happiness to millions, lining the streets for a glimpse, ive no idea why. If they drove through my town id go see. Couldnt tell you why. But wherever they go they are met by smiling, cheering, happy faces. Bottle that and you make billions.

So just because you have the opinion they must go i reckon maybe 65+% want to keep. And i bet at this moment its way more
