answer this, are you happy to see andrew casually doing the rounds and like he is absolved on our tv?

You and others can have complete respect for the queen and feel sorrow for her passing, but doesn't mean you or anyone has to accept that nonce being given a pass.

My question isn't about the Queen, we have established we both respect her service and her death, the question is about the still royal titled duke of york, prince andrew

I want Andrew to be arrested and face the charges he’s accused of in the US.

Ive said this before, for whatever reason, the royals bring happiness to millions, lining the streets for a glimpse, ive no idea why. If they drove through my town id go see. Couldnt tell you why. But wherever they go they are met by smiling, cheering, happy faces. Bottle that and you make billions.

So just because you have the opinion they must go i reckon maybe 65+% want to keep. And i bet at this moment its way more

If they are bringing happiness to millions …. is that a bad thing ?

The older people get, the more they change their views on things like tradition and start to see the value of it.

I imagine, like many many others in the U.K. the amount of time spent on a daily basis thinking about the royal family is next to zilch unless they are in the news for one reason or other.

I’m surprised how personally people take the thought of someone not giving two fucks if they carry on or not. The impact to the man on the streets daily lives is pretty non existent wherever they continue or not.

I suppose it’s just good old fashioned patriotism at the end of the day and as I have no interest on that score it’s probably why I’m pretty ambivalent to whatever happens next.

You’ve worded that so it sounds like she paid to cover it up.

Virginia Giuffre and Andrew had reached a settlement, so the money went to the victim.

It’s obviously an emotive subject for him.

You've underestimated the time thinking about them though. There'll be conversations for a few days in pubs when money and stamps change.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "With the Queen's approval and agreement, the Duke of York's military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to the Queen.
"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."
All Prince Andrew's roles have been returned to the Queen with immediate effect, and will be redistributed to other members of the Royal Family, a source said.
The issue had been widely discussed with the Royal Family, the source said.”
