The Budget 2021

By doing this would this help his mates in some of the bigger businesses buy up smaller competition for the equivalent of nothing?

He seems to have no regard for the so called entrepreneur spirit his party professes to support.

First point - probably not. I'm talking really small businesses here. The ones that employ up to say, 250 employees. They'll just liquidate.

His party no longer supports the entrepreneur. No help during the pandemic, IR35, reverse charge VAT. All seemingly engineered to fuck them over.

That's not the definition of a small business, let alone a really small (micro?) business. You're defining up to medium business there.

A lot of money spent on covid, it will need to be paid back in the future, we all know that. The low to middle income eaeners the ones expected to pay the bulk I see.

  • Personal income tax allowance to be frozen at £12,570 from 2022 to 2026
  • Higher rate income tax threshold to be frozen at £50,270 from 2022 to 2026

Like I said in another post, along with putting as much as possible into a pension, I'll also be very creative to ensure that I make as little profit as possible.

No help during the pandemic = fuck all from me to help out with the recovery.
you should be doing that anyway .

6% Corporation tax rise from 19% to 25% in 2023 for all businesses making more than 50k in profits, with zero tax as usual on the big online tax avoiders like Amazon, Google, Ebay, Starbucks etc etc and lets not forget nearly all of the UK registered FTSE 00 companies. Absolute political suicide by the Tories.
