We went for lunch today, not a single person doing anything remotely jubileeish. Having our lunch, people came in and had their kids in wee Union Jack Queen T-shirt’s, and they were bemoaning the fact nothing was happening anywhere. That’s all over Scotland. The BBC put the same picture up twice of a Scottish town going bunting tonto. It was an English Town.

They say just under a third of the united kingdom equating to around 17 million citizens are either in favour of a republic out right or the monarchy to be abolished after Elizabeth has gone.

Great weekend celebrating someone who has done an amazing job throughout the years.

I think it’s pretty clear the royal family aren’t going anywhere. They are hugely popular with the uk population. Despite some of the shouting from the minority who will never like them.
