The Carlos Tevez Thread (Merged)

Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

Yes ,he`s a unique player that can play upfront or inthe hole.He can partner any of the other strikers. None of the others can do that.
His work rate is brilliant he changes games and defends from the front which is also some thing we miss.
id love to see Tevez stay and Mario plus Ade leave.

Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

No. Great player but an accident waiting to happen as he's proved time and time again and I can't see it changing as long as he's hooked up with the snake. If we don't win the league this season, his actions will be a significant factor IMO.

If all is properly cleared between the club & Tevez & his representatives in the summer I'm all for it, he's the best player I've ever seen in a blue shirt and has the ability to single-handedly win us football matches.

Plus it would save us the job of offloading a big name player and replacing him.

No: 51 Yes: 57

And best of all if he helped us beat the rags next season that would really piss them off.

Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

No, help us win it and then goodbye on 'good' terms. We cannot risk another episode like we have had this season. The same logic applies for Balotelli for me.

Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

After seeing how much Aguero, Silva and Nasri seemed to find another level again last night alongside Tevez it's a difficult argument to fashion either way? We all know that there are problems with Tevez but I have to question why only since Mancini arrived have problems surfaced?

That is not me having a go at Bobby but just an open ended question? I think he will leave in the end (assuming Mancini is retained) but it will be extremely sad as I think Aguero, Silva, Tevez and Nasri could be the most devastating attack this country has seen for a long, long time given significant game time together.

Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

Very tough one to answer. A large part of me says 'No' due to his lack of respect for the club and ourselves, the fans. However, if Mancini and Abu Dabi have accepted his apology and he gets his head down and plays the way we know he can, then 'Yes'.

We saw last night what he brings to the table; dropping deep to get the ball, pulling players out of position, contributing assists and goals. We're a different animal with Carlos playing with Aguero; it's no coincedence. He's more effective than the mis-firing Dzeko and unstable Super Mario.

If he wants to stay then he has to show his professionalism, rebuild his relationship with the fans and get on with his football. If he wants to leave in the Summer then don't stand in his way.

I'd rather have a City side WITH Tevez in than without.
