Re: Would you like Carlos to stay?

If he doesn't pull another sebaticle then yes. I would love him to stay.

After seeing how much Aguero, Silva and Nasri seemed to find another level again last night alongside Tevez it's a difficult argument to fashion either way? We all know that there are problems with Tevez but I have to question why only since Mancini arrived have problems surfaced? That is not me having a go at Bobby but just an open ended question? I think he will leave in the end (assuming Mancini is retained) but it will be extremely sad as I think Aguero, Silva, Tevez and Nasri could be the most devastating attack this country has seen for a long, long time given significant game time together.

And there's the key.

I think that all of Tevez dissatisfaction could well be due to his handling by Mancini. As fans, most of us can only see the tip of the iceberg, but a fairly clear picture has now emerged of how Roberto deals with players who he doesn't get on with. He is completely ruthless in getting his way and Tevez felt the full force of his technique.
Tevez has never wanted to do anything but play football, so how demoralised must he have been to clear off to Argentina, mid-season and play golf.
His strings were pulled by an expert (and I don't mean his Advisor).
When we got Aguero and he played like a demon from the word go, it may be that the manager felt he could afford to teach Carlos a lesson. If so, it back-fired on him in a big way and may yet cost him his job and us the Title.

Straw poll.

Yes, we all know what has happened in the past, no point raking over old ground, but if he expressed a GENUINE desire to stay and see his contract out, how would you feel?
Does he even know the meaning of that word?? For me, he'd have to convince Mancini and I doubt he has that desire.

So NO
