The Championship thread...

Shortly after half-time, Blackpool supporters made their way onto the pitch and headed towards the centre circle.

Some fans released flares and began angrily chanting towards the Oyston family in the director's area, as tensions rose inside the stadium.

The scene soon became somewhat farcical, as one fan made their way onto the pitch to join the protest on a mobility scooter, while others broke out in a conga line as supporters continued to voice their frustrations.

Despite pleas from the referee to restart the match, the protesting fans stood firm and the match was eventually called off on safety grounds after over an hour of on-field protesting.

You have to wonder if the momentum would be with Brentford.

Boro will be a tough test for them but Norwich with their squad and experience you would probably have to fancy them overall.

We will see.

Don't care who else comes up as long as it's not that Boro scum!

Derby don't deserve to come up. Spent more time at the top of the league than anyone apart from Bournmouth and only needed a draw at home against a team with nothing to play for to make the play offs and got battered. Bottlers!

Shit protest by Blackpool. They need to find out which nursing home Oysten's mum is in! :)

Its like something out of phoenix nights. The things is now Oyston will be able to ban these fans now with the full weight of the law behind him because they invaded the pitch.

Or he could punish them by making attend next season.

The situation at the club is crazy.

Derby head coach Steve McClaren: "I'm really annoyed, angry, and frustrated about the last two months and am really determined to do something about it.
"I'm not making a pledge, this is how I feel at the present moment. I'm under contract at Derby and I've said that all along. I've been questioned about all the speculation which has been going on for about six months.
"My intention is to sort this out. No one has told me otherwise and until somebody does, that's my determination.
"I'm angry, frustrated, I want to do something about it. I want to sit down with everybody next week, I think it's too raw, too early to make any kind of statement but what I say is what I mean."

All double Dutch to me Steve..

I don't want Brentford to go via the play offs .
Another trip to London is all we need .
The other 3 don't really appeal either .
It would have been nice to see Derby back in the premier league .
But they buggered up yesterday .
