I heard them singing something about Foden but I was busy half watching and half sorting my dinner out and running about to get out of the house before the game ended. This was to beat the crowds leaving the game as I was going to be passing the swamp on the way. I followed the rest of the game on my phone until I got to the pub.
 
Maybe in Spain it’s more of an insult than it is here.
Mum jokes and saying things about mums although pretty childish are in most cases harmless.

I’m sure we’ve all said and done worse.
If we are too grizzle about this then it just adds to them and others doing it.

Hmm, I've been called a wanker often enough but I'm definitely not a posh southern one and I never called my mum "mam" and I don't think I have ever personally known anyone who called their mother that either. Is this the new barm/muffin?
 
The most devastating chant is the classic of understatement:
