The Cheltenham Festival.

The horses are well looked after. It's national hunt racing. It happens the fences are a lot easier than years gone by and the whips are not like the old 1s. To say it's animal cruelty when you see how heart broken the owners and trainers and all involved in the racing are when 1 dies says it all.

One week out thought this was worth a share if only for the insight into who runs where given the usual multiple entries across the novice events. Chapman gets a bit irritating at times but Codd and Blake are good value.

Always a good day off on the Friday in most towns with the gamblers and alkies making a day of it.

Looking forward to it, normally spend a couple of afternoons in town with mates and a couple at home.

Had my first 'sure thing' tip today via 3 degrees of separation (that's not the horses name btw) from someone who knows someone etc. for a day 1 race.

I'll be waiting until I can predict the going before I put money anywhere.

The rules state tips must be shared :)
