Mine was when I was also 17, backed Captain Dibble on debut at 33/1 just for the name no doubt and it won, I collected it and nothing was said but in retrospect, I should have given my dad the slip to collect just in case they took it off me for being underage.
I once got a false price off the woman behind the till in my favour, the horse was Timeless Times, a multiple sand winner, it was being backed off the boards and I was stuck in the queue, for whatever reason she looked at the main TV screen and the price was 7/4 but she wrote 7/2, had a tenner on and they paid out but the manager was a little bit off about it, I never argued but said that was the price his staff had put down and I hadn't noticed.
