The City Of Manchester, The revolution will be televised.

its something most of us know already, however there are flaws charlton was a big game, its the early rounds of the cups where we will struggle as we always have done, when john wardle let the kids in for a quid we still didn t sell the game out, cant remember which league cup game it was though

As an old misery guts of many years standing (Kippax )Who has only missed one home game in about 20 years (Hamburg couldnt get a ticket ) just say we did get 70,000 a week. Fantastic. We get to Wembley. Brilliant. Tickets go on sale. Excitement mounts.FA turn round and give us 50 tickets. The corporates get 80,000.
Every bloody year we get two teams in a Final and every year we know there is not enough to go round. Lots of moaning and wringing of hands. Nothing is ever done. Remember Gillingham ? Both teams got the same amount of tickets. Gillingham averaged 6000 a week. They found another 20,000 fans from somewhere. If the tickets had been sold just to City fans the stadium would have been full.
We have the support to fill 70,000 but how many would we keep if they couldnt get to see the big games. I know i would be pissed if we got to the Champions League Final ( please God ) and couldnt get a ticket because some johnnycomelately got one instead of me.
So I think we should reduce the size of our stadium, so I can get the ticket I deserve.

What a post! At a time when the media are banging on about absolute shite regarding our club and fans saying we are all wearing money tinted glasses thinking we can buy glory, our fans come together to prove we are the working class club and that the money makes no bit of differnce at all to wether we would go to the games or not and carry on the support, if the media got hold of this petition i recon it would go national and prove them all wrong!!! CTID!!!

You haven't missed a home game in 20 years and couldn't get a Hamburg ticket? Just shows you how much of a fiasco the ticket arrangements were for that. FFS there were some Bury and even rags that went cos it was only a fiver.

Also the loyalty points system we have will ensure that no johnny come latelys will get a ticket ahead of long standing supporters.

If the Metro went right to COMS. Then alot of people I know would go more often.

pathetic.

It's true though, I'm not saying it's right or wrong.

I go because I can get there relatively easily, but a few people from work can't get there and back without spending a packet.

doesnt matter how expencive the beer is you still wont ever get the right change

I stopped going gave up season card there were a few reasons:

Missing too many games because of TV.
This was worse than prevsious seasons because the ST were so expensive.

My kids want to go, but I can't afford to take 3 of us.

I don't like the stadium but if it was cheaper I would go.

If they build it we will come.

Build and 80,000 capacity staduim £15 adults, £5 kids we would fill it.

I know 20 people who would go at those prices and you know what we all do.

Concur, the price is a major issue for me as I'm not exactly rich. If prices were reduced we could easily sell over 60,000 tickets.
