Universal Credit is corporate welfare.
Conservatives are not opposed to welfare per se, they would just prefer it didn‘t go to the poor, or as we have seen recently, to feed poorer children.
They also like schemes where they and their mates can take a margin.

Read the whole thread of tweets - its a tragi-comedy involving two cheeks of the same arse completely out of touch with each other and reality.
