Fuck me what an absolute load of garbage. 50%+ of our entire budget is spent on helping people, and principally those above. You daft sod.
Im Labour as well you know and a complete 180 from yourself on almost all things political including brexit but you are 100% spot on.
The hyperbole and rhetoric that surrounds politics these days is frankly ridiculous and unhelpful.
You would be forgiven for thinking reading these threads we lived in Zimbabwe or Venezuela at times the way some talk.

You would be forgiven for thinking reading these threads we lived in Zimbabwe or Venezuela at times the way some talk.
The truth is there's some very good, hardworking and above all, highly moral MPs on both sides of the house. No-one goes into politics for reasons other than they want to do good and make the country better. Sure they may get someone tainted along the way because of "the system" but the vast majority are decent people.
Look at Chukka Ummuna and Anna Soubry - two MPs with nominally pretty much opposing political views, and yet they genuinely appear to get on like a house on fire. Where they may differ is the *how* do we make peoples' lives better, but I am sure they both share the same objectives.

I remember the last Labour government in fact at 48 i can remember a hell of a lot of governments and virtually every single one had the exact same issues facing it and every single one was accused of not giving a shit by the other side with promises of how wonderful it would be if they got a chance at power.

Didn't say they don't spend any of the governments budget on things that as a government it is duty bound to do.
I said they ignore things they don't give a shite about, read into that comment what you want to suit your narrative, I know what I meant and it wasn't about if they spend money on stuff.
