The Prof. of Politics of DCU more or less said the same thing tonight on Irish TV, thst he sees Britain stuck with the pair of them for the time being.
Removal of them is removal of the current cabinets manifesto and will cause further damage in the markets causing catastrophic damage to Britain.
The party know this. Can they replace her?

No. They have to see it out. They might put someone 'safe' around him or her. But how they do that, this early.

The big outlier is that we hear they've agreed to go at some point. Just waiting for Boris to try and use that to spring back into the limelight. At which point, I am planning on reducing any future responses to anything remotely Tory-related to either the word 'No', or utter silence. As perfected down the generations by parents who really fucking mean it and know they will get their way, even if it means staying like that for years.

Simon Coveney is there trying his level best to talk sense into the DUP head beside him though.
A business man there being raided for importing from England (sort of). Simon trying to tell them that no meaningful negotiation has been forthcoming from the British government with the EU although the door has been left open for them.

Election coming in December.

They have no-one who is safe.... thats their problem - they kicked all the moderates out and have just swivel eyed loonies in their place - who would you suggest is safe amongst this lot??
 
The aspect of this shit show that should be of concern but hasn't really been recognised, is the Cabinet are probably feeling quite pleased with themselves at the moment. Everything is going according to plan, and there won't be a U-turn anytime soon.

The ERG puppets are in the Cabinet now, and a sympathetic PM and Chancellor are now well on course for collapsing public finances. It's what they want.

I was out having a walk today, and as I thought about the ideologies of the ERG in various papers I had read over the years, plus the thoughts of the contributers to the book 'Britannia Unchained', it hit me like a brick that what they want is actually happening.

I've worked hard all my life, saved up a bit of money for my retirement, and those twats, that think I'm a lazy sod, want to crush me and every other person like me for their ideological idiocy.

I'm angry. Not just pissed off, but angry, about what is happening at the moment.

I’ve no doubt she’s as thick as people on here make out, but she’s not in charge. She’s not coming up with this stuff.
I really do think a large chunk of Britain or Brits are blind to what seems obvious from the outside.

None of what has happened in the last 5-6 years is by mistake. Brexit was the enabler for where you’re headed, it seems. And where you go will have a global effect.

There’s far more devious minds at work here than Thick Lizzy’s.

By the way I heard Margarine Thatcher being used on Irish Political TV program tonight.

You only have to watch stuff online about Crispy Odious and JRM and the like to see how its all a game to them and they are playing the country to make millions - meanwhile newspapers - owned and edited by people who are probably doing the same - are profiting too. James O'Brien says he has compassion for the conned and contempt for the conmen. That period is over - the conned who are still supporting the conmen have been presented with enough proof that they were conned but still support the conmen despite the information out there so as a result they have earned and deserve my contempt. I'd hazard a guess if the MP's gilt edged pension fund had faced collapse today we would have seen a very different result.

That's the nub for me. They know exactly what they are doing. It's a strange situation that just a few individuals can royally fuck a country up, and who knows what goes through the minds of the local party members that select them thinking they are perfect for us all as a nation, but it is what it is, and we are stuck with them, unfortunately.
