Because johnson would have to admit breaking ministerial rules in parliament make you unfit to be in government and himself, gove, sunak, patel would all have to be fired.
Hancock resigns the rest get to go on and in 6 months he gets a new cabinet post in a reshuffle
And there we have the answer.
Because Johnson.
It all comes down to him, it is all about him, it is about him being in power, the narcissistic ****.
Not so long ago i read an article by a Tory who wrote, in the end Johnson will let you down, Johnson always lets people down, because all that matters to Johnson is Johnson. He will do anything, say anything, commit to anything , deny everything as long as Johnson stays in the position Johnson thinks he is entitled to. He thinks he is better than us, he thinks he is great, he looks at his own reflection on the mirror and see's greatness, he will see that reflection for the rest of his life because in Johnsons mind Johnson is great, he is untouchable, unsurpassable, omnipotent and he expects us all to bow to his greatness and respect his earnestness, love his joviality and laugh along with his self characterisation of the amiable British eccentric.
Our country produces men like him, think about that, think about what is wrong with our country when we can produce men like him and then think we need to stop producing men like that this because they serve nobody but themselves and their own enormous ego's.
Hancock deserved to go, he was a poor health minister, he was reckless, he philandered, he lied, he was neck deep in cronyism but his boss allowed him to do that so that his boss could look great stood beside him. Ultimately though this is on Johnson's watch, he allowed it, he sanctioned it and if the man had any honour, any sense of dignity, any sense of self respect he would also do the honourable thing and throw himself under the bus. He will not though, because of what he see's in his mirror.
