The Conservative Party

Interesting that inflation was predicted to peak at 7% in April, but twice this morning I’ve heard it reported that it will be above 7% afterwards.
You know what its like with this one - they probably got a range of predictions say between 7 to 10% and decided to go with the lowest figure - I have seen it on the BBC this morning saying it will peak at 7.25% which last time I did any counting was a figure above 7%

Wasn't it also reported that pension and benefit increases are pegged at the CPI figure as of last Sept, which was 3.5%, despite pressure not to.
Pensions would have been increased by around 7.5% had the government stuck to the triple lock. You know, the triple lock they pledged to stick to. But they ignored one of the components so pensions rise by only 3.5%.
Lying Tory bastards being lying Tory bastards. And some fucking idiots will still vote for them.

Moreover that bloc will include quite a few people who have just been cheated out of half their pension rise

“Power tends to corrupt,“ absolute power seems to remove any sense of basic decency and humanity.
When will this country wake up?

Does anyone actually believe that this Nasty Party will do anything about all these Russian oligarchs and their rotten money stashed away in this country? Too many of them support this rotten, infested crew. Did the Nasty Party ever release the report on Russian intervention in our affairs? Seam to remember it was due for release the Christmas before the pandemic hit.
